    • An electric fan includes a fan base (10), a bearing (40) and a rotor assembly (20). The fan base forms a central tube (11) receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (22), and a pivot axle (23) joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. The bearing has an outer wall (41) with a plurality of bulwarks (45) circumferentially formed thereon. At least one partition hole (424, 43a) corresponding to the bulwarks is defined in the bearing. The at least one partition hole effectively prevents a radially inward pressure exerted by the central tube on the bearing from being exerted to the pivot axle via the bearing. Therefore, a friction between the bearing and the pivot axle is reduced.

    • An electric fan includes a fan base (10) having a center tube (11), a bearing assembly received in the center tube and a rotor assembly (20). The bearing assembly includes a plain bearing (40) and a rolling bearing (50). The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (22) and a pivot axle (23) jointed to the fan hub and pivotably extending into the bearing assembly. Lubricant oil is filled between an inner surface of the plain bearing and an outer surface of the pivot axle. A partition element (60) is fixed to the center tube for separating the rolling bearing from the plain bearing, thereby preventing impurities in the lubricant oil from being thrown into the rolling bearing with the lubricant oil.

    • An electric fan includes a fan base (10), a bearing (40) and a rotor assembly (20). The fan base forms a center tube (11) receiving the bearing therein. The center tube has a wall and a baffle element (110) bending from a top end of the wall. The baffle element engages with a top of the bearing to prevent lubricant oil from leakaing from the top of the bearing. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (22), and a pivot axle (23) joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. The bearing has a central bore (42) and at least one channel (43) defined in the bearing and located around the bore. As the fan is operated, the lubricating oil repeatedly flows through the at least one channel.
