摘要： Disclosed is an LCD device including an electromagnetic wave shielding member for shielding the electromagnetic waves generated from electric power applied to lamp of backlight assembly. The shielding member comprising conductive material is coated on surface of a diffusing plate to have mesh shape. The shielding member is filled into groove formed on the surface of the diffusing plate to have mesh shape. Accordingly, the electromagnetic waves may be shielded from the LCD panel. Furthermore, the shielding member makes electrical contact with the chassis of the LCD device through various ground members so as to be connected to an earth potential, thereby being stabilized electrically. Accordingly, display quality of the LCD device is improved. A conductive tape is used as the ground member, and the conductive tape is strongly fixed to the chassis of the LCD device by means of conductive fixing clip or conductive screw.

摘要： A light guide plate includes a first surface having a light incident surface and a light reflect surface, a second surface facing the first surface, through which the reflected light exits, a first edge surface connected between edges of the light reflect surface and the second surface, and a second edge surface connected between edges of the light incident surface and the second surface, being opposite to the first edge surface. A light source is disposed on the light incident surface. A light guide plate may also include a stepped edge portion formed at a marginal area of the light guide plate on which a light source is combined. The stepped edge portion includes a light incident surface, a light reflect surface, an upper surface through which the reflected light exits the light guide plate, and a first edge surface connected between edges of the light reflect surface and the upper surface, being opposite to the stepped edge portion. A backlight assembly includes the light guide plate, a lamp unit including lamps and a lamp reflector that are disposed on the light incident surface, and a mold frame for receiving the stepped edge portion and the lamp unit.

摘要： In a backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display device using the backlight assembly, a lamp assembly is mounted on a receiving container and includes lamps. The lamps are connected in parallel and are turned on by the power voltage supplied from a lamp driving module. Sensors are disposed in the receiving container to face the lamps, and detect operation state of the lamps to output sensing signals. A voltage cut-off module is disposed outside of the receiving container, provides the lamp driving module with a voltage cut-off signal when at least one of the sensing signals has an amplitude smaller than a reference signal. The deterioration of the lamps may be prevented, and the life expectancy of lamps may be increased.

摘要： Disclosed is an LCD device including a noise shielding member. The noise shielding member is a transparent conductive member including a transparent film on which a transparent conductive layer is coated. The noise shielding member may also be a transparent conductive layer scattered on the optical sheets. The transparent conductive layer comprises ITO or IZO. The noise shielding member is disposed under the diffusing plate or interposed between optical sheets. The noise shielding member may be disposed under the LCD panel. The noise generated from the electric power signal applied to the lamp of the backlight assembly is shielded from the LCD panel. Furthermore, the noise shielding member and optical sheets contacts with the chassis of the LCD device through various ground members so as to be connected to earth potential and be electrically stabilized. Accordingly, display quality of the LCD device is improved.

摘要： There is provided a lamp fixing holder. A lamp fixing holder for fixes a lamp to a receiving container. The lamp provides a liquid crystal display panel with light. The lamp includes a first portion of a face and a second portion of the face. The light emitted from the first portion of the face advances toward the liquid crystal display panel. The lamp fixing holder comprises a lamp fixing body and a fixing member. The lamp fixing body holds a third portion of the face of the lamp. The second portion includes the third portion. The fixing member fixes the lamp fixing body to the receiving container. The lamp fixing holder according to the present invention fixes the lamp so that the lamp does not sway, while minimizing an amount of light that is shielded by the lamp fixing holder.
