摘要： A modeling apparatus includes a platform and a substrate, which are adapted to be releasably locked together to provide a surface for building up models in an additive-process three-dimensional modeling machine. The substrate comprises a substantially rigid, non-dusting tray providing a modeling surface. Female connectors extending from the tray are seated in male connectors in the platform, to engage the substrate to the platform. The engaged substrate is locked to the platform, maintaining accurate positioning of the substrate while a model is built. After modeling is complete, the substrate is released from the platform, the model is removed, and the substrate may be reused.

摘要： In one embodiment, the present invention provides a bipolar ablation device with multiple needle electrodes that penetrate a desired target tissue. These electrodes may be arranged in a variety of therapeutically effective arrangements, such as a comb-like shape, a multi-needle wheel, or an expanding bow design. By contacting and preferably penetrating the cardiac tissue with bipolar electrodes, a user can more precisely create ablation-induced scarring and thus electrical block at desired target locations without causing unwanted damage and related complications.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for delivering and installing a new length of tubing between two sections of a patient's existing body organ tubing and at least partly outside of that existing structure. For example, the new length of tubing may be for the purpose of providing the patient with a coronary bypass. The new tubing may be an artificial graft, a natural graft (harvested elsewhere from the patient), or both. The new tubing is installed at the operative site primarily by providing at least one graft location with instrumentation inserted through the patient's existing tubular body organ structure. Assistance in installing the new tubing may be provided by minimally invasive surgical access openings in the patient's chest. The tubing may be delivered through the patient's existing tubular body structure or, alternatively, through the surgical access openings.

Technical complications and costs associated with large scale deployments are avoided, because client devices are not required to install or execute specialized client-based software. Client actions (e.g., mouse clicks, mouse drags, related screen pointer coordinates, etc.) may be translated into method and application interface (API) calls and transmitted, either directly from a client device or via a visualization web service, to a central visualization server. The visualization server may then generate updated visual components and may relay them back to the client device either directly or via the visualization web service.

摘要： Faucet Nut Remover provides a convenient and effective method for removing faucet nuts. The invention may comprise a piece of 1½″ square tubing with a hole at one end. Inside the tubing can be a spring-loaded shaft measuring approximately 3½″ in length, which may extend about 5/16″ beyond the tool. The top of the device preferably has four slats, one on each side, used to attach or remove a nut. A cut-out in the center of the tubing may show the spring component and the shaft as it retracts ⅞″ within the tubing. To use, consumers may simply reach under the desired faucet, securely attach the tool to a nut, and turn the device to unscrew the nut. It can be used to remove older sinks, or in new sink installations.
