摘要： Water in silicone emulsions, methods for preparing the emulsions, and personal care products containing the emulsions are disclosed. The silicone phase of the water in silicone emulsions contains an emollient, a silicone elastomer containing a hydrophilic group, and an optional nonionic surfactant. The aqueous phase contains an anionic surfactant at such a concentration to provide a weight ratio of the silicone elastomer to anionic surfactant ranging from 60/1 to 1/1 in the water in silicone emulsion. The resulting water in silicone emulsions can be used in a variety of personal care, household and health care formulations, and in particular for sprayable lotions.

摘要： This invention relates to aqueous emulsions comprising a polyorganosiloxane and a wax, and to methods of production of such emulsions. The emulsions are of the type oil-in-water. An organopolysiloxane is polymerized in admixture with a molten wax, thereby forming a blend of the wax with an organopolysiloxane of increased molecular weight, and the said blend of polymer and molten wax is emulsified in water in the presence of a surfactant. The emulsions are useful in personal care applications such as on hair, skin, mucous membrane or teeth. The emulsions are also useful in applications such as paints, water based coatings, textile fibre treatment, leather lubrication, fabric softening, fabric care in laundry applications, homecare, release agents and oil drag reduction.

摘要： A process for the production of water-containing silicone rubber device comprising the steps of mixing an external phase comprising an organopolysiloxane polymer having at least two reactive groups per molecule, a water in oil emulsifier and where required one or more active ingredients and/or optional additives; with an internal phase comprising water and optionally one or more active ingredients to form an emulsion; and subsequently introducing a cure package comprising a cure package comprising a suitable catalyst, which will be determined by the cure reaction between the polymer and where required a cross-linker, and which contains more than two reactive groups, designed to react with the reactive groups in the polymer in the presence of said catalyst in order to cure the external phase of the composition, thereby entrapping the water within the body of said water-containing silicone rubber device. The resulting product is preferably used fragrance delivery in applications selected from aromatherapy anti stress ball, aromatherapy pillow, deodorising shoe sole solid deodorising device for houses, external prosthesis, facial mask for delivery of actives.
