A resilient element (13) enables the printing unit to be advantageously tensioned, in a manner that equalizes tolerances, against the support (11) of the media unit (26) in an operating position. This enables an advantageous equalization of work tolerances and positional tolerances, and the position of the print head (5) relative to the medium to be printed ensures a printing quality that is always very good.
