摘要： In a method for transferring data from a tachograph (1) onto a smartcard (3), the smartcard (3) is moved out of and back into the tachograph (1) by an electromotive drive (8) as a function of stipulated conditions. In the process, spring contacts (6) of the tachograph (1) rub over contact areas (5) of the smartcard (3) and remove any dirt which may be present. The conditions for starting the electromotive drive (8) and the intended operation of the electromotive drive (8) are stored in a memory (10) of an electronic control device (9).

摘要： A trip recorder, a memory card or a cleaning card being passed by a reading device by an electric motor drive. The trip recorder attempts to establish communication with the inserted card. If no communication can be established, the reader device or the memory card is dirty, or the cleaning card is inserted in the trip recorder. In case of a failed attempt at communication, the electric motor drive moves the inserted card past the reader device repeatedly removing potential contamination.

摘要： An assembly has a tachograph and a data memory, in particular a data memory of a data card. The tachograph has an interface designed to exchange data between the tachograph and the data memory, logic function modules and at least one memory. In a method for operating the tachograph, as a result of high security requirements, the data transfer between the data memory and the tachograph is extremely time-intensive. At the start of the data transfer a virtual reproduction of the data memory is created in the memory of the tachograph and the logic function modules first have read and write access to the virtual reproduction in the memory. Data is then regularly written to the data memory of the data card by a write access to the memory, thus eliminating the differences between the virtual reproduction and the data memory.
