摘要： To provide a motor control apparatus that uses an inverter to drive an AC motor and hybrid automotive control apparatus adapted to drive an AC motor by use of an inverter while reducing torque pulsations during switching from PWM driving to rectangular-wave driving. The motor control apparatus 100 has a PWM driving mode in which to input a PWM signal to the inverter 8 and perform PWM driving of the AC motor 4, and a rectangular-wave driving mode in which to input a rectangular-wave signal to the inverter 8 and perform rectangular-wave driving of the AC motor 4. For switching from the PWM driving mode to the rectangular-wave driving mode, a driving-pulse switching block 140 performs the switching process within a maximum pulse-width range of high-level or low-level pulses developed in the PWM driving mode.

A controller predicts a load torque of the generator with respect to the engine in future several hundred milliseconds at maximum from the present time, in view of a magnetic field voltage and a speed of the generator at the present time, and controls the engine in accordance with the predicted load torque in order to prevent the output torque of the engine from being insufficient.

摘要： The present invention provides a controller and driving apparatus for an electric vehicle, which enables a motor to steadily output torque even when there is an increase in the rotation speed of an internal combustion engine that drives a generator. A motor control unit includes a voltage/current command generator F10. The voltage/current command generator F10 includes a base command determination unit, which determines a base command value for the output voltage of the generator and base command values for d- and q-axis currents that drive an AC motor, and power generation operating point change means, which changes the command values that are output from the base command determination unit. When an operating point of the generator approaches an unstable region where the generator unsteadily operates, the power generation operating point change means changes the generator's operating point to position it within a stable region.

摘要： An electric four-wheel drive vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine; a generator for outputting DC electrical power; an inverter for converting DC electrical power, output from the generator, into AC electrical power; and an AC electric motor, which is driven by the inverter, for driving rear wheels. An electric motor controller controls the inverter, the AC electric motor, and the generator, according to torque instructions from a vehicle. Furthermore, in a case that the output of the AC electric motor becomes negative, and excess electrical energy is generated, the electric motor controller controls the current applied to said AC electric motor such that the loss in said AC electric motor exceeds the negative output of said AC electric motor. This enables the AC electric motor to absorb excess electrical energy in the form of thermal loss.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a controller for an electric four-wheel-drive vehicle, which is capable of minimizing torque changes and consuming excessive power even when the excessive power is generated by a generator. A motor control unit causes an AC motor to generate desired torque by controlling an inverter. When the power generated by the generator exceeds the power consumed by the inverter and AC motor to generate excessive power, a current command determination unit in the motor control unit consumes the excessive power by increasing a loss in the AC motor.
