摘要： A process for producing refined hydrogen iodide having organic components of 0.2 ppm by volume or less and water of 0.1 ppm by volume or less by contacting crude hydrogen iodide with a zeolite is disclosed. Crude hydrogen iodide is obtained by reducing iodine with a hydrogenated naphthalene, wherein all of the iodine is dissolved in advance in a portion of the hydrogenated naphthalene to prepare an iodine solution, and the reaction is carried out while adding continuously or intermittently the iodine solution to the balance of the hydrogenated naphthalene. The same operation may be repeated in succession using unreacted hydrogenated naphthalene and fresh iodide. The zeolite is contacted in advance with crude hydrogen iodide, the amount of which is at least 1/3 (weight ratio) relative to the amount of the zeolite, to convert impurities of sulfur components contained in the zeolite to hydrogen sulfide, thereby removing the sulfur components. Further, an activated carbon may be combined with the zeolite at the rear stage thereof.

摘要： In preparing an iodoalkynyl carbamate by iodinating an alkynyl carbamate with iodine monochloride in water or a solvent mixture composed of water and an organic solvent in the presence of a base, the iodoalkynyl carbamate can be obtained in a yield of as high as 96 to 98% by using the alkynyl carbamate in a concentration of 5 to 20% by weight, dissolving the iodine monochloride in an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid or an aqueous solution of an alkali metal chloride (the amount of iodine monochloride used being within the range of 1.0 to 1.2 moles per mole of the alkynyl carbamate and the amount of base used being within the range of 0.95 to 2.00 gram equivalents per mole of iodine monochloride), and carrying out the reaction at a temperature of 10.degree. to 40.degree. C. for a period of 1 to 4 hours.According to this process, highly pure iodoalkynyl carbamates which are useful as industrial germicides can be prepared with good selectivity and in high yield.

摘要： A display system for displaying a document includes a tablet terminal and a head mounted display device (HMD). The tablet terminal includes a display device which does not display confidential information that a third party is not allowed to browse, but displays non-confidential information that the third party is allowed to browse with regard to the document. The HMD includes a glasses-type display unit which does not allow the third party to browse, but allows a HMD user to browse, a communication unit which receives the confidential information, and a video camera for capturing the non-confidential information displayed on the display device. The glasses-type display unit, based on the captured non-confidential information, displays the received confidential information so that the received confidential information is visually recognized by the HMD user in a state of being aligned with the non-confidential information displayed on the display device.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for purifying chlorinated hydrocarbon(s), comprising cooling a mixture containing hydrogen fluoride and at least one chlorinated hydrocarbon selected from the group consisting of 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, 2,3-dichloro-3,3-difluoropropene, 1,2,3-trichloro-1,1-difluoropropane, and 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane to cause liquid-liquid separation of the mixture into an upper liquid phase having a high hydrogen fluoride concentration and a lower liquid phase having a high chlorinated hydrocarbon concentration, and a method for purifying a chlorinated hydrocarbon, comprising subjecting the lower liquid phase obtained by the liquid-liquid separation to a distillation operation. According to the present invention, a chlorinated hydrocarbon can be purified by separating and removing hydrogen fluoride from a chlorinated hydrocarbon-hydrogen fluoride mixture under simple and economically advantageous conditions.
