摘要： Disclosed is a holding device including: a telescopic handle having axially opposed front and rear ends and constructed of at least two separate shafts, of which a front-side separate shaft axially fits within a rear-side separate shaft being a hollow cylinder; and a support member provided at the front end of the telescopic handle for attachment of a cleaning wiper. The front-side separate shaft has an axially extending elastic arm and an engaging projection provided at a leading end of the elastic arm, while the rear-side separate shaft has a through-hole passing through a cylinder wall thereof, in which the engaging projection engages when the front-side separate shaft projects from the rear-side separate shaft by a predetermined length. Pressing the engaging projection, which engages in the through-hole, from outside the rear-side separate shaft permits release of the engaging projection from the through-hole.

摘要： Disclosed is a device (2) for holding a cleaning wiper (1). The holding device includes: a synthetic resin body portion (10) bifurcated to have a pair of support plates (12) to be inserted into a tube (45) of the wiper; and a handle portion (30) extending from the body portion to be held by hand. Each support plate is in an elongated plate form having a width (W1) larger than a thickness (T1). The paired support plates extend parallel with each other to have inner side edges (12b) facing each other and outer side edges (12a) facing in opposite directions. Protrusions (15) having convexly curved edges are integrally formed on the respective outer side edges of the support plates. The paired support plates are elastically deformable to permit tip ends thereof to approach each other.

摘要： A cleaning element includes a fiber assembly having a plurality of fibers extending in a predetermined direction and a nonwoven fabric disposed on the fiber assembly. A first fusion bonded part extends in a cross direction crossing the predetermined direction to fusion bond the fiber assembly and the nonwoven fabric, and a plurality of second fusion bonded parts formed discontinuously in the cross direction at a lateral side of the first fusion bonded part to fusion bond the fiber assembly and the nonwoven fabric. The first fusion bonded part extends all the way through the fiber assembly in a thickness direction of the cleaning element. The plurality of second fusion bonded parts extend only a part of said fiber assembly in the thickness direction.
