摘要： An integrated console connected to a plurality of computer systems for sending a command entered from an input device to one of the computer systems which executes commands corresponding to the command from the input device and receiving signals that are output from the computer systems. The present invention includes a memory device which stores data used to select a destination of a command entered from the input device, and a control unit which analyzes the command entered from the input device and sends the command entered from the input device to a selected one of the computers which executes commands corresponding to the command entered from the input device based on the data stored in the memory device. The control unit includes a selector for selecting one of the computers based on the command input from the input device and the data stored in the memory device, and sending apparatus for sending the command input from the input device to the computer selected by the selector.

摘要： User authentication information for network of a user and a name of a server to be accessed are sent from a client terminal to a user management equipment realized by one of servers which constitute a network system. The user management equipment sends the network address of that server and user authentication information registered for that server back to the client terminal. Using these pieces of information, the client terminal logs in that server. Each of the servers used by the user notifies the user management equipment of the actual accounts for the user at preferable times. Using the notified information, the user management equipment manages the actual accounts of each user. Each user can know the total of actual accounts for the servers used by accessing only the user management equipment.

摘要： An error recovery reduces the recovery time in finding out the JOB causing error in a computer system. An event generation unit is called at the beginning of the execution of a JOB, at the end of the execution of the JOB and at the close process of the file input-output process, by the JOB execution control unit. The JOB start event, end event, and close event are generated by the event generation unit. A file input/output count acquisition unit is called to generate a file input/output count for each JOB, by the JOB execution control unit. The monitoring process thereby generates the execution record comprising the end code, the start time, the end time, the execution time, the file input/output count, and the error flag for each JOB, based upon the above mentioned events. The monitoring process activates the error recovery support process when the error occurs. The error recovery support process compares the execution record with the standard record based upon the normal execution, checks for an abnormality of the input/output count, the execution time and the end code, stores the abnormal flag into the execution record, and sets the JOB generating the abnormality as the JOB causing error. The operator instructs to re-execute the JOB after the recovery and reallocation of the file.
