摘要： It is aimed to provide a wireless vehicle to vehicle communication system arranged for mounting on a vehicle's front side location, equipped to provide inter vehicle communication. The system comprises a wing assembly arranged for mounting on the vehicles front side location. The wing assembly houses one or more digital communications antennas and has a side portion that houses a first antenna at a first height and/or horizontal position, and a second antenna at a second height and/or horizontal position, different from the first height and/or first horizontal position and sufficiently away from the other metallic and/or electronic components, for the purpose of optimizing reception and/or transmission quality, by e.g. providing good coverage and diversity, and avoiding interference with each other.

摘要： Antenna system adapted for integration in side mirrors of a vehicle. The antenna system includes two radiating conductors and a reflector coplanarly disposed on a same dielectric substrate of a printed circuit board. The radiating conductors are connected to the reflector through transmission lines electromagnetically coupled to a frequency band of operation. In order to optimize the radiating of the antenna system in a 180° sector that covers one lateral of the vehicle, the reflector is separated from the two radiating conductors by a distance included between 0.3 times and one time the central wavelength; and the reflector is less than 6 times wider than the radiating conductors.

摘要： A slot array antenna includes: an electrically conductive member having an electrically conductive surface and slots therein, the slots being arrayed in a first direction which extends along the conductive surface; a waveguide member having an electrically conductive waveguide face which opposes the slots and extends along the first direction; and an artificial magnetic conductor extending on both sides of the waveguide member. At least one of the conductive member and the waveguide member includes dents on the conductive surface and/or the waveguide face, the dents each serving to broaden a spacing between the conductive surface and the waveguide face relative to any adjacent site. The dents include a first, second, and third dents which are adjacent to one another and consecutively follow along the first direction. A distance between centers of the first and second dents is different from a distance between centers of the second and third dents.

摘要： A sensor assembly that integrates a camera and a radar sensor is described herein. The sensor assembly includes a housing configured to partially enclose the camera and the radar sensor, and define a partial radome that partially intrudes into the radar beam. The partial radome is configured such that after passing through the partial radome a first phase angle of the first portion of the radar beam differs from a second phase angle of the second portion of the radar beam by an amount substantially corresponding to an integer number of three hundred sixty degrees (360°) of phase angle shift. The partial radome provides glare shield to the camera, protection to assembly, and is configured to minimally effect radar performance.
