The rear cross traffic alert device provided on a vehicle includes: an object detection section configured to detect the presence of an object laterally behind the vehicle; a movement determination section configured to determine whether or not the object has entered a predetermined area in a detection area in which the object detection section can detect the presence of the object; and a notification control section configured to stop notification when the movement determination section has determined that the object has entered the predetermined area.

摘要： Provided is an object measuring device capable of avoiding unnecessary scanning of an object that is unlikely to be an obstacle. By detecting a reflected light of a laser light emitted to an entire emission region, objects, other than a road surface, existing within the emission region are identified. When the objects other than the road surface are identified, a spread angle of the laser light, which is required for measuring the identified objects with a necessary accuracy, is determined. When the spread angle is determined, the laser light is emitted, at the determined spread angle, to the objects other than the road surface, and thereby the respective objects are measured.

摘要： A polarized electromagnetic device is disclosed having a generally I-shaped magnetic core member, a coil which is wound on the center portion of the core member, a pair of permanent magnets which are arranged in parallel with and outside of the respective end portions of the core member, and mutually confronting first and second armature plate members which are joined together through the pair of permanent magnets, with each magnet at the opposite end portions of the armature plate members in order to provide a spacing for accommodating the core member between the armature plate members, and consequently leaving a gap for relative movement therein. The core member and armature plate members are supported to be swingable relative to each other for movement about a center transverse axis of the center portion of the core member.

The warning control device performs a warning operation when the host vehicle and the mobile body approach each other. The warning control device calculates the intersecting distance, which is the distance to the host vehicle from a predicted intersecting position between the path of the host vehicle and the path of the mobile body. The shorter the calculated intersecting distance, the earlier becomes the timing of the warning operation executed by the warning control device.
