摘要： The invention provides a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor, including the steps of forming an oxide film serving as dielectric substance around a porous compact composed of valve action metal having an anode lead projecting therefrom, forming a resist layer around the anode lead and on a portion of the porous compact disposed in the vicinity of the anode lead, forming a conducting polymer compound layer on both the resist layer and the oxide film, and removing concurrently the resist layer and a part of the conducting polymer compound layer disposed on the resist layer. For instance, when the resist layer is composed of glass, the resist layer is removed by applying mechanical impact thereto.

摘要： A solid electrolytic capacitor includes an anode, a dielectric layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and a cathode electrode. The solid electrolyte layer consists of a conductive polymer compound obtained by doping a dopant in one of a copolymer and a mixture of polypyrrole or a derivative thereof, the polypyrrole having a repetition unit represented by a formula ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 to R.sub.3 represents an alkyl group or a hydrogen atom, and polyaniline or a derivative thereof, the polyaniline having a repetition unit represented by a formula ##STR2## wherein each of R.sub.4 to R.sub.7 represents an alkyl group or a hydrogen atom.

摘要： A solid electrolytic capacitor using a conductive polymeric compound as a solid electrolyte is disclosed, wherein a powder is dispersed in the conductive polymer to provide unevenness on the surface of the solid electrolyte, thereby increasing the surface area, whereby a mechanical adhesion between the solid electrolyte and a cathode conductor layer is increased. The conductive polymer comprises a first conductive polymer layer which contacts a dielectric layer at an anode body side, and a second conductive polymer layer which contacts the cathode conductor layer side, and the powder is dispersed in the second conductive polymer layer. By this constitution, tan .delta. and an equivalent series resistance (ESR) of the solid electrolytic capacitor are decreased.

摘要： In a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor, an oxide film as a dielectric layer is formed on a surface of a sintered body formed from a valve action metal and having an anode lead. A solid electrolytic layer essentially consisting of a conductive polymer is formed on the dielectric layer. In the step of forming the solid electrolytic layer, the sintered body having the dielectric layer is dipped in an oxidant solution, and the oxidant solution on the surface of the extracted sintered body is evaporated. Then, the sintered body is dipped in a monomer solution prepared by dissolving a conductive polymeric monomer in a solution in which the oxidant is not dissolved, and the monomer solution on the surface of the extracted sintered body is evaporated to form the conductive polymer layer.

摘要： The solid electrolytic capacitor disclosed has a conducting polymer as a solid electrolyte and an antioxidant contained substantially only in a layer disposed in the neighborhood of a surface of the conducting polymer. The antioxidant serves to block the progress of oxidation of organic materials. A capacitor element with conducting polymer not containing the antioxidant is first prepared and this capacitor element is then dipped in a solution containing the antioxidant. Thus, the antioxidant at high concentration is caused to be introduced into the conducting polymer so as to be contained substantially only in a layer disposed in the neighborhood of the surface of the conducting polymer. Since the antioxidant can be introduced by merely dipping the capacitor element in the antioxidant solution, the method can be applied widely to capacitors irrespective of the process of conducting polymer formation. The antioxidant concentration inside the conducting polymer is substantially zero so that the conductivity thereof is not affected.

摘要： In a solid electrolytic capacitor which employs a conducting polymer as the solid electrolyte, a first solid electrolytic layer (3) consisting of a sole conducting polymer is formed by chemical polymerization on an oxide film (2) formed on the surface of an anode body (1). Next, a second solid electrolytic layer (4) consisting of a conducting polymer containing fine powder, obtained by chemical polymerization using a solution in which fine powder is dispersed in a reaction solution for chemical polymerization, is formed on the first solid electrolytic layer (3). The fine powder is harder than the conducting polymer. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the application of a stress to the oxide film (2) by the solid electrolytic layer (4) consisting of a conducting polymer containing fine powder even if there is generated a stress at the time of curing of a molded resin (8).

摘要： A stacked type solid electrolytic capacitor has a plurality of single plate capacitors each constituted by a dielectric oxide film, a solid electrolytic film and a negative electrode layer sequentially laminated on a surface of a positive electrode member having a positive electrode section. A metal spacer which has a thickness corresponding to each of spaces between the positive electrode sections is placed in each of the spaces. The metal spacers and the positive electrode sections are mechanically and electrically interconnected by welding. The invention may be embodied in a stacked electrolytic capacitor of a lead type or that of a chip type. The invention provides capacitor in which the size is reduced and the capacity is increased, the possibility of deterioration in electrical characteristics during the fabrication process is eliminated, and the process of fabrication is made easy.

摘要： The solid electrolytic capacitor comprises a sealed capacitor element having, as a solid electrolyte layer, a heat resistant conductive layer formed on a dielectric oxide film. The heat resistant conducting polymer layer contains water, and the capacitor element inside is substantially oxygen-free. A cathode conductive layer is provided on the capacitor element and then both an external cathode lead and an external anode lead are mounted on the capacitor element. Water is supplied to the conducting polymer layer of the capacitor element such that the conducting polymer layer inside contains water. The capacitor element is then sealed such that water is held within the heat resistant conducting polymer layer and that the capacitor element inside is substantially oxygen-free. The step of supplying water is carried out by dipping the heat resistant conducting polymer layer in water or heavy water or exposed to water-containing inert gas. The capacitor element is sealed in a water-containing oxygen-free inert gas atmosphere. The resulting capacitor has excellent heat resistance.
