摘要： A pipe coupling having an annular recess in the body portion of a first coupling part, a transverse slot in a second coupling part across the hollow interior thereof, the slot including a slot base wall across one end thereof and being open to the exterior of the second coupling part at the other end thereof, and a release bar in the slot, the release bar including an aperture therethrough of a diameter similar to the diameter of the first coupling part body portion, and including a top portion protruding from the other end of the slot, the release bar being reciprocally movable within the slot across the hollow interior of the second coupling part towards and away from the slot base, between a first position wherein the aperture in the release bar is substantially aligned with the hollow interior such that the body portion of the first coupling part can be entered into or removed from the hollow interior and a second position wherein the aperture is offset from the hollow interior such that an operative portion of the release bar adjacent the periphery of the aperture engages the annular recess of the first coupling part when same is received in the hollow interior, to retain same therein, and the release bar being resiliently urged towards the second position and manually movable therefrom to the first position by pressure application to the protruding top portion of the release bar.

摘要： A miniature irrigation water spray fitting includes a body part having a top and a bottom and with an inlet for receiving longitudinal flow of water from the bottom. The body part also includes a depending skirt between the top and the bottom extending generally radial to the flow of water through the inlet. The cap part is threaded onto the top of the body part and has a depending edge engaging the skirt of the body part when the cap part is screwed fully home, the cap part having an outer peripheral gripping edge. One of the body or cap parts has plural radial grooves extending along the respective skirt or depending edge to permit the radial flow of water from the fitting. The cap part gripping edge permits a field worker to quickly clear any clogging of the grooves by rotating the cap part a half turn or so, and thereafter quickly rotating the cap part fully home again.

摘要： An improved water spray fitting for controlling the flow of water from a pressure supply of water such as a hose or the like is provided which allows more convenient use in maintaining a particular spray pattern while in use. The preferred fitting includes a internally threaded, manually rotatable, control ring located within a transverse cut-out part of the body, and a valve member extending longitudinally through the hollow internal of the fitting body and through the control ring and externally threaded so that rotation of the control ring causes longitudinal movement of the valve member. In preferred use, the control ring can be manually adjusted by the fingers of the hand in which the fitting is held to provide convenient, one-handed operation.
