    • A bone anchor includes first and second anchoring legs and a bridge joining the anchoring legs between their proximal and distal ends. Portions of the anchoring legs on a proximal side of the bridge are configured to elastically compress together in response to an insertion force applied to the bone anchor during insertion of the bone anchor into a bone hole, and to plastically splay apart in response to a withdrawal force applied to the bone anchor. Portions of the anchoring legs on a distal side of the bridge are configured to compress together in during application of the withdrawal force to limit the splaying of the proximal portions of the anchoring legs. A method for attaching soft tissue to bone includes inserting the bone anchor with attached suture into the bone, and deploying the bone anchor within the bone by applying tension to the suture.

    • A data modification system and method for selective insertion of local meta data into an incoming data stream, the incoming data stream having a video data component and a meta data component. The data modification system comprises an incoming data terminal, a local data terminal, and a data modification unit coupled to the incoming data terminal and the local data terminal, wherein the data modification unit is adapted to selectively combine data from the incoming data terminal and the local data terminal. The method comprises receiving a data signal, the data signal comprising a first data component and a second data component, separating the first data component from the second data component, determining whether to modify the second data component, retrieving a third data component from a database, merging the third data component with the first data component, and outputting the third data component and the first data component to a distribution terminal.

    • A method and apparatus for the lining of rounded arcuate chamber areas is disclosed. One edge of a flexible, rectangular sheet of lining material is attached to the substrate wall of the chamber by welding. The opposite end from the now attached side is compressed laterally to bow the sheet into contact with the wall. Keeper welds or attachments are made, trapping the compressive force. The installers are now free to complete the seam welds around the periphery of the sheet. In the preferred embodiment, the sheet is made of a high nickel alloy (HNA) and the arcuate chamber is a desulfurization duct or absorber tower. Successive sheets are overlapped approximately one inch on the sides and top/bottom.
