摘要： A hydrogen generation apparatus 200 includes: an evaporating part 7; a reforming reaction part 9A connected to the downstream side of the evaporating part; a carbon monoxide reducing part 20 provided downstream from the reforming reaction part; and a gas guiding part 21 disposed between the reforming reaction part and the carbon monoxide reducing part and configured to guide a gas that has passed through the reforming reaction part to the carbon monoxide reducing part. The evaporating part and the carbon monoxide reducing part are arranged to be adjacent to each other such that, at least, a part of the evaporating part and a part of the carbon monoxide reducing part are heat exchangeable with each other. The evaporating part is configured such that a heat exchange amount at a portion of the evaporating part, the portion corresponding to the carbon monoxide reducing part, is less than a heat exchange amount at a portion of the evaporating part, the portion not corresponding to the carbon monoxide reducing part.

The control part switches the path switching part, and the inside of the hydrogen generating part is replaced with combustion gas after the catalyst combustion part.

摘要： The present invention relates to an electric power generator and its operation method, which electric power generator is equipped with a hydrogen generator, a polymer electrolyte fuel cell for generating electric power using hydrogen rich gas from the hydrogen generator, a burner for heating the hydrogen generator, a flow rate controller for controlling the supply amount of a burning fuel to the burner, a communicating pathway connecting the flow rate controller and the burner, a joint where at least a residual fuel gas from a fuel electrode of the fuel cell and/or an incompletely generated gas from the hydrogen generator are combined into the communicating pathway, and a pressure-transferring pipe for releasing the pressure between the joint and the flow rate controller into the flow rate controller; the flow rate controller controls the supply amount of the burning fuel on the basis of the above-mentioned pressure.

After installation or maintenance of the hydrogen generation apparatus, the raw material gas is supplied to the reformer through the first desulfurizer until a catalyst in the second desulfurizer is activated by a mixed gas of the reformed gas supplied through the recycle passage and the raw material gas, and after the catalyst in the second desulfurizer is activated, the raw material gas is supplied to the reformer through the second desulfurizer.

The fuel cell system further comprises: either one of (1) a gas pathway switching device A installed at a junction of the fuel supplying conduit and the first bypass conduit; and (2) a gas pathway switching device B installed at a junction of the fuel exhausting conduit and the first bypass conduit. The second bypass conduit is connected to the fuel exhausting conduit at an upper stream side of the flow of the remaining fuel gas than the junction with the first bypass conduit.

摘要： Provided is a hydrogen generator capable of suppressing degradation in capability of a hydrogen generator which is caused by crush of particulate reforming catalyst and of suppressing decrease in reforming efficiency due to decrease in heat transfer efficiency of a catalyzing portion which is caused by the crush of the particulate reforming catalyst. A hydrogen generator comprises a catalyzing portion 50 having particulate reforming catalyst P, and a combusting portion 5 for heating the catalyzing portion 50, the hydrogen generator being configured to generate a reformed gas containing hydrogen while flowing a material gas containing steam in a direction in which the catalyzing portion 50 extends. The catalyzing portion 50 includes a separating member 40. The separating member 40 is disposed on a separating cross-section which is a cross-section of the catalyzing portion 50 in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the catalyzing portion 50 extends. A plurality of air holes 40D having a shape to inhibit passage of the particulate reforming catalyst P are provided on the separating member 40. An opening having a shape to permit passage of the particulate reforming catalyst P is provided on the separating cross-section.

摘要： A hydrogen generator comprises therein a reformer, a Shifter, a material flow passage with first evaporator through which a material is supplied to the reformer, a reformed gas flow passage for leading the reformed gas derived from the reformer to the Shifter, a shifted gas flow passage through which a shifted gas derived from the Shifter is taken out, and second steam flow passage formed adjacent to the reformed gas flow passage to be located at upstream side of the Shifter. The second evaporator is provided within the second steam flow passage. A part of heat of the reformed gas is recovered as latent heat by the second evaporator. 摘要： A hydrogen generator of the invention includes: a reformer for generating a hydrogen-rich gas from a feed gas and water by a reaction using a reforming catalyst body and sending it out from an outlet port; a material feed system for feeding the feed gas to the reformer; a burner for supplying, to the reforming catalyst body, heat generated by mixing a fuel gas with air and burning it; and an air supply system for supplying air to the burner; wherein, when purging an interior of the reformer using the feed gas in shutting down the hydrogen generator, an amount of the air supplied is increased to put out a flame of the burner, and a purge gas sent out from the outlet port by the purging is mixed and diluted with the air in the burner and is discharged outside.
