That is, the second segment information signal of the signal to be recorded is converted into the first segment information signal and recorded together with the audio signal.

摘要： Concave grooves for forming a receiving layer for inkjet printing are provided at the inner peripheral and outer peripheral boundary portions of an application region on a disk substrate. The concave grooves are formed with a substantially V-shaped cross section, and with a depth d that is at least equal to the film thickness of the coating film within a central region between the concave grooves. A plurality of nozzles of a supply device is arrayed in a radial direction across the central region between the concave grooves, and a substantially constant quantity of coating liquid per unit of surface area is applied so as to form a coating film of a predetermined thickness. The applied coating liquid portions are flattened by a mutual leveling effect. During drying, the coating film inside the concave grooves does not dry first, but rather dries and contracts at substantially the same time as the coating film within the central region, meaning a receiving layer of uniform film thickness can be formed over the entire central region.

A first pad including the magnetic head and second pads including no magnetic heads are disposed on an air bearing surface of the slider. During rotation of said magnetic disk, a part of the first pad keeps in contact with the magnetic disk. A load point of the suspension with respect to the slider is positioned between a leading edge of the slider and a position located at a distance equivalent to substantially 0.42 times a whole length of the slider from the leading edge of the slider.

摘要： A magnetic head suspension for a magnetic memory apparatus includes a load arm having a head arm portion and a carriage arm portion that is thicker than the head arm portion. The load arm may include a first plate as the head arm portion, and a second plate attached to the first plate as the carriage arm portion. A magnetic head slider attaching part is gimbaled to the first plate, and is formed from the material of the first plate. The first plate is provided with a loading bend in an intermediate portion thereof to provide an added pushing force to the magnetic head toward the magnetic disk. A conductor layer is patterned in the underside of the first plate, to transfer signals to and from the head.
