摘要： A production method for extruding molding sections to be fitted in a periphery of a windshield glass includes the steps of extruding the molding sections by using a die having an opening for extruding a support leg which is to be inserted into a space between the windshield glass and a window frame of a body panel and having an opening for extruding a decorative portion which covers the space from outside the molding sections, wherein the molding sections are extruded by keeping an area of the extrusion opening on the die for the decorative portion constant at all times. The method includes the step of increasing, during production of one of the molding sections, an area of extrusion opening on the die for extruding the support leg in order to provide an enlarged thickened section between an outer surface of the windshield glass and the decorative portion. In addition, insertion of an additional die into the extended section of the extrusion opening on the die of the support leg is possible with specified timing so as to form a rainwater groove on the sidewall of the enlarged thickened section by partially shielding the enlarged thickened section.
