摘要： A nonstaining coating composition which comprises as essential components (A) a specific aliphatic sulfonic acid compound or amine salt thereof, (B) a compound having per molecule at least one functional group selected among carboxyl, a carboxylic acid anhydride group, and a carboxyl group blocked with an alkyl vinyl ether, (C) a specific organosilicate and/or a condensate thereof, and (D) a resin having epoxy groups and/or alkoxysilyl groups in the molecule; and a method of finish coating. Also, a stain resistant coating composition which comprises (F′) a specific modified resin and optionally (B) a compound having in the molecule at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl group, carboxylic acid anhydride group and carboxyl group blocked with an alkylvinyl ether compound. They give a cured coating film which has nonstaining properties based on a high degree of hydrophilicity from immediately after the formation thereof and has satisfactory long-term weatherability, water resistance, and chemical resistance. The film can impart an excellent finish appearance to the article.

摘要： A thermosetting composition which comprises (A) an epoxy group-containing modified polyester polymer comprising a structural moiety of (a) a carboxyl group-containing polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 1,500 to 50,000 and a resin acid value of 2 to 30 mgKOH/g and a structural moiety of a polymer of (b) an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer, the carboxyl groups and a part of the epoxy groups being bonded in an equivalent ratio of the carboxyl groups in the component (a) to the epoxy groups in the polymer of the component (b) of 0.1 or less, and having an epoxy equivalent weight of 200 to 2,000 g/mol, and (B) a compound having two or more functional groups which are blocked by a vinyl ether, vinyl thioether or heterocyclic group carrying oxygen or sulfur as the heteroatom and having a double bond of the vinyl type. The composition can give cured articles excellent in hardness, chemical resistance, stain resistance, processability, impact resistance, elasticity and weathering resistance and has a good storage stability.

Also, the method for stainproof-treating of the present invention can provide excellent stain resistance on the substrate by a simple work. Further, the stainproof-treated article of the present invention is an article obtained by the method for stainproof-treating described above and is excellent in stain resistance.

摘要： Thermosetting compositions which are excellent in storage stability, useful as one component thermosetting compositions, give cured products having excellent chemical properties, physical properties and weathering resistance and favorably utilized in coating compositions, ink, adhesive and molded plastics. The thermosetting compositions comprises a compound having in the molecule two or more hydroxyl groups and/or thiol groups blocked by a vinyl ether compound, a vinyl thioether compound or a heterocyclic compound having a vinyl type double bond and oxygen or sulfur as the hetero atom, a compound having two or more reactive functional groups which can form a chemical bond with the blocked hydroxyl and/or thiol compound by heating and a thermal latent acid catalyst. The blocked hydroxyl and/or thiol group of the first compound and the reactive functional group of the second compound may be comprised in the same molecule.
