    • A thermoplastic elastomer composition powder comprising a thermoplastic elastomer composition represented by the following (A), having a sphere-reduced average diameter of not more than 1.2 mm and a bulk specific gravity of not less than 0.38: (A) a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin; (b) 20 to 250 parts by weight of a conjugated diene polymer of hydrogenated conjugated diene copolymer having a hydrogenation degree of not less than 70%, which is prepared by hydrogenating a conjugated diene-vinyl aromatic compound random copolymer in which the content of a vinyl aromatic compound unit is not more than 25% by weight; and (c) 0 to 500 parts by weight of an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer rubber. This powder can give a molded article having excellent appearance and flexibility, which does not cause whitening easily on bending, according to the powder molding method.

    • A biological cell sorter, comprising: a first laser for emitting a first laser beam directed to a point in a tube conducting biological cells in a single file, a first light detector for detecting a cell to be destroyed according to a light emitted from the cell as a result of impinging the first laser beam upon the cell and producing a trigger signal when a cell to be destroyed is detected; a second laser for emitting a second laser beam directed to another point in said guide path downstream of the mentioned point when the trigger signal is supplied thereto; a delay circuit for delaying activation of the second laser by a delay time corresponding to a travel time which the cell requires to travel between the two points; a time measuring circuit for measuring a time interval between two succeeding trigger signals; and a correction circuit such as a look-up table for adjusting the delay time according to said time interval between the two succeeding trigger signals. Thus, even when the response time of the second laser beam is affected by the frequency of second laser beam emission, it is possible to destroy the cells to be destroyed with an extremely high precision. Owing to the high precision achieved by the present invention, the second laser beam can be accurately directed to the intended cells, and the power efficiency of the second laser can be improved.

    • A thermoplastic elastomer composition containing (A), (B-1) and (B-2) described below and having a total content of (B-1) and (B-2) of 10 to 250 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the content of (A), a complex dynamic viscosity &eegr;*(1) at 250 ° C. of 1.5×105 poise or less and a Newtonian viscosity index n of 0.67 or less, and pellets obtained by using the thermoplastic elastomer composition, and a molded article thereof: (A): a polyolefin-based resin; (B-1): a conjugated diene-based thermoplastic elastomer or its hydrogenated product providing two tan &dgr; peaks within a temperature range of −70 to 30° C. in a temperature dependence curve of tan &dgr; determined by a solid viscoelasticity measurement of the composition obtained by being kneaded with (A); and (B-2): a conjugated diene-based thermoplastic elastomer or its hydrogenated product providing a new single tan &dgr; peak at a temperature which is different from both the tan &dgr; peak temperature of (A) and the tan &dgr; peak temperature of (B-2) within a temperature range of −70 to 30° C. in a temperature dependence curve of tan &dgr; determined by a solid viscoelasticity measurement of the composition obtained by being kneaded with (A).
