摘要： An apparatus for providing driving information for a vehicle based on high speed movement long distance impulse radio-ultra wideband (IR-UWB) is provided. The apparatus includes an IR-UWB module configured to generate a packet based on high speed movement long distance IR-UWB, transmit the generated packet, and interpret a received packet and a controller operationally coupled to the IR-UWB module. The controller is configured for the step of estimating a distance between an own vehicle and a different vehicle, estimating a relative location of the own vehicle with respect to the different vehicle based on the distance and generating driving information including the distance and the relative location.

摘要： An apparatus and method for updating a check node of a low-density parity check (LDPC) code in order to decode the LDPC code are provided. The method includes the operations of: (a) obtaining a first bit of a first minimum value among input values, the number of input values being equal to the number of degrees of the check node, by performing an AND operation on first bits of the input values, the first bits being most significant bits of the input values; (b) obtaining result values by switching and sequentially performing an XOR operation and an OR operation on the first bit of the first minimum value and each of the first bits of the input values; and (c) performing operations (a) and (b) on the result values set as input values and performing operations (a) and (b) a number of times corresponding to the number of bits of each input value, that is, repeating until last bits are set as input values, to thereby obtain the first minimum value, the last bits being least significant bits of the input values. Accordingly, the complexity of hardware is reduced, and super high-speed processing is possible.

摘要： A method and apparatus for estimating a signal delay between a transmission signal which is to be processed in a predetermined communication device of a mobile communication system, and a feedback signal. Each of the transmission and feedback signals is sampled for a predetermined length, and signal power magnitude values are computed in a sample unit and are stored in first and second memory blocks. Mean squared error (MSE) values are computed from a plurality of samples, while a start sample position of one block is shifted on a basis of a start sample position of the other block. A sample delay value is estimated from a start sample position of the one block with a smallest MSE value such that a sample delay between a transmission signal and a feedback signal is closely estimated regardless of a frequency allocation (FA) value.

摘要： A digital predistortion apparatus is provided for predistorting a nonlinear characteristic caused by a wideband power amplifier that amplifies a input signal. The digital predistortion apparatus includes a predistorter, connected to the power amplifier via a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a frequency up-converter, for receiving the input signal and compensating for the nonlinear characteristic using a look-up table that depends upon a change in output power of the power amplifier. The digital predistortion apparatus further includes look-up table (LUT) updating block for adaptively updating the look-up table by comparing a feedback signal output from the power amplifier, connected thereto via an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), with the input signal output from the predistorter.
