摘要： A corrosion-resistant lath is provided for use in exterior finishing systems, such as stucco systems and exterior insulation and finish systems (“EIFS”). The lath includes in a first embodiment an open, woven fabric comprising weft and warp yarns containing non-metallic fibers, such as glass fibers. A portion of the weft yarns are undulated, resulting in an increased thickness for the fabric. The fabric is coated with a polymeric resin for substantially binding the weft yarns in the undulated condition. This invention also includes methods for making an exterior finish system and building wall including an exterior finish system using such a lath.

摘要： The invention is directed to a bond-compatible composite membrane that includes a bituminous material layer and a polyester layer and its use as an intermediate layer between a building structure and exterior finishing materials. Unlike conventional composite membranes, the bond-compatible composite membrane has a rough surface that allows bonding materials to adhere to it. Therefore, mechanical devices are not needed to attach the exterior finishing materials to the building structure.

摘要： This invention concerns a circuit which decreases the time required for certain phase-locked loops to pull in, that is, the time for the frequency of the oscillator which the loop controls to go from some initial error to some specified smaller error. The circuit is utilized with a loop employing an integrating element in the loop filter in conjunction with a logic circuit for indicating out-of-lock condition plus the sign of the frequency error and utilizes a source of direct current (DC) which is connected to the loop filter so as to increase the rate of change of the correction signal to the controlled oscillator and thereby speed-up tuning of the oscillator to the desired frequency.

摘要： The present invention provides a pressure equalizing compartment for building structures comprising: an inner member having oppositely facing inner and outer surfaces and having a top and bottom edge; spaced closure members contacting said outer surface of said inner member and extending vertically on the surface of the inner member, a horizontally disposed closure member disposed on the outer surface of the inner member, a space being defined between said spaced, closure members; a cavity forming means disposed in said space between said closure members; an outer member having oppositely facing inner and outer surfaces disposed substantially over said cavity forming means to form a pressure equalizing compartment, wherein the compartment having an air and moisture vent communicating to the outside environment. The present invention also provides exterior insulation and finish systems and building walls incorporating the pressure equalizing compartments and methods of installation.
