摘要： An upright box-like housing, having a forwardly open front, is supported by a base overlying a horizontal surface. A base mounted motor rotates an elongated candle blank within the housing about a vertical axis when interposed between a motor drive shaft supported spindlehead adjacent the bottom end wall of the housing and a tailstock journalled by the housing top end wall. A cutting tool guide and shavings shield, coextensive with the housing height, is pivotally supported at one side of the housing for movement toward and away from the vertical axis of the candle.
