It was therefore necessary to find a binder system which itself has low-flammability properties.By using polymers and/or copolymers of vinylidene chloride as pigment binder system the low flammability of such special types of fiber is not impaired.

摘要： Process for dyeing textile material with pigment dyes, which comprises1. pretreating the textile material with a polymer which consists wholly or partly of monomeric units of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.22)alkyl which may be interrupted by --CO--NH-- or --NH--CO--, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -hydroxyalkyl,R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each hydrogen or methyl, and Y.sup.- is a monovalent anion or one equivalent of a polyvalent anion,2. then dyeing with a pigment dye in the presence of a leveling or dispersing agent by the exhaust method and if necessary3. treating the dyeing in a liquor with a pigment binder and subsequently fixing it.This process makes it possible to dye textile material, in particular ready-made jeans garments, with pigment dyes by an exhaust method.

摘要： Process for the preparation of copolymers from acrylamide and acrylic or methacrylic acid, wherein to prepare 100 parts by weight of the copolymer, (A) 10-90 parts by weight of acrylamide, (B) 90-100 parts by weight of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid or of a salt thereof, (C) 0-40 parts by weight of another copolymerizable monomer and (D) 0-5 parts by weight of a copolymerizable crosslinking agent which has two or more olefinic double bonds are polymerized in an alcohol having 1-4 carbon atoms by precipitation polymerization such that 10-90% by weight of the alcohol, 10-90% by weight of the total amount of monomers (A), (B) and (C) together with 100% by weight of the crosslinker substance are initially mixed, polymerization is started with 10-100% by weight of the initiator and then the remainder of the solvent, monomers, crosslinking agent and initiator to make up to 100% is metered in, as individual components or as a mixture, after the polymerization has started.

摘要： The viscosity of aqueous printing inks for gravure printing is adjusted by means of partially organophilic gels which contain plastics mixtures of at least one polymer swelling in water and at least one polymer not swelling in water or to an insignificant extent only, in a solvent mixture of at least two hydrophilic organic hydroxy compounds and one hydrophobic organic hydroxy compound. The printing inks prepared with the aid of the thickener mixtures of the invention contain up to 90% of water, and can be handled as textile printing pastes.Gravure printing inks on the basis of such plastics gels containing disperse dyestuffs are suitable for the manufacture of transfer printing paper sheets. Since the thickening system adjusting the viscosity contains aqueous alcohols, if any, and no solvents as usual in transfer printing inks, no special measures have to be taken with respect to flammability and explosion risks.
