    • A microwave diffraction system includes two plates, a lattice model, a transmitter and a detector. The two plates are electrically conductive and configured in a parallel manner so as to form a planar waveguide. The lattice model includes a plurality of cylinders arranged in regular order and is placed between the two plates. The transmitter is arranged at an outside edge of the planar waveguide and configured for providing a microwave towards the lattice model. The detector is arranged at outside edge of the planar waveguide and configured for detecting the microwave reflected from the lattice model. The diffraction pattern obtained by the above-mentioned microwave diffraction system is similar to theoretical value.

    • An isolated dual-mode converter includes a TE01 mode converter including a circular waveguide, and a plurality of rectangular waveguides connected to the circumference of the circular waveguide; and a TM01 mode converter including a coaxial waveguide, formed by coaxial outer and inner conductors, and the circular waveguide connected and aligned axially with the coaxial waveguide, wherein a symmetrical axis of an opening at the end of the rectangular waveguides connected to the circular waveguide is parallel to the axis of the circular waveguide, thereby avoiding interfering with the propagation of TM01 mode.     • The a polarized high-order mode electromagnetic wave converter and its coupling method uses bifurcate structure to divide the input wave into two signals with the same amplitude but opposition phases, which are then inputted into a circular main waveguide through waveguide so that the input wave could convert into linearly polarized high-order mode in the main waveguide, and then undergo the polarization change conversion stage to convert the polarized wave into circularly polarized wave. The coupling method includes the electromagnetic wave bifurcate stage, mode conversion stage, and may combine with a polarization conversion stage. The TE21 coupler is tested with simulation computation and fabricated, and proved to produce consistent results with the computer simulation.
