摘要： A heating device for heat-sealing containers by heating an end forming portion 13 of a tubular container having a rectangular to square cross section, the end forming portion 13 having four generally quadrilateral first to fourth panels 21 to 24 continuous with one another and each having a heating region 31, 32, 33 or 34 to be heated on an inner surface thereof. The heating device has a hot air nozzle 71 in the form of a bottomed tube and fittable into the container end forming portion 13 for heating an inner surface of the container. The nozzle 71 has four side walls 81 to 84 continuous with one another and corresponding to the first to fourth panels 21 to 24 respectively, at least one of the side walls 81 to 84 being provided with a hot air discharge portion 121, 122, 123 or 124 having orifices 111 and to be opposed to the heating region of the corresponding panel 21, 22, 23 or 24 and with a hot air nondischarge portion 125, 126, 127 or 128 other than the discharge portion, the hot air nondischarge portion being at least partly provided with a hot air escape portion 95, 96, 97 or 98.

摘要： A carton blank erector and feeder comprising a magazine having a delivery opening at one end and accommodating flat blanks as arranged closely side by side from the end toward the other end thereof, the delivery opening being so positioned as to be opposed to a phantom outward extension of a bottom forming mandrel as stopped at a feed station, transport means for withdrawing the blank from the delivery opening and transporting the blank to the outward extension, and means for unfolding the blank from the flat form to a tubular form of square cross section while the blank is being transported by the transport means. The unfolding means has at least two unfolding claws provided at edge portions of the opening so as to be engageable respectively with opposite ends of the blank to be withdrawn from the opening, and at least two unfolding ensuring claws arranged at an intermediate portion of the path of transport of the blank so as to be engageable with the respective blank ends after the blank ends are released from the unfolding claws.

摘要： A liquid metering-filling apparatus is provided which includes a container transport conveyor intermittently drivable so as to halt containers one by one at a filling station. A filling nozzle is disposed above a path of transport of containers at the filling station. A metering cylinder houses a piston and has an outlet in communication with the filling nozzle. An inlet check valve is provided at an inlet of the metering cylinder. An outlet check valve is provided at any one of the outlet of the metering cylinder and inside of the filling nozzle. The liquid metering-filling apparatus also includes a driver for causing the piston to perform a cycle of stroking movement every time the conveyor is driven by one pitch. A photoelectric sensor is provided at the filling station for detecting any one of the presence and absence of a container of the plurality of containers at the filling station. A photoelectric sensor is provided at a stop station for detecting any one of the presence and absence of a container of the plurality of containers at the stop station which is immediately preceding the filling station upstream therefrom. The liquid metering-filling apparatus also includes a valve opening-closing member for opening the inlet check valve upon the photoelectric sensor at the filling station detecting the absence of a container of the plurality of containers and the photoelectric sensor at the stop station detecting the presence of a container of the plurality of containers.
