    • A thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention has high impact resistance, not lowering the weather resistance thereof, even though the amount of an impact resistance improver added thereto is small. The thermoplastic resin composition contains 100 parts by weight of (A) a thermoplastic resin and from 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of (B) a graft copolymer, wherein the graft copolymer (B) contains from 70% to 99% by weight of a crosslinked core (b2) prepared through polymerization of a monomer for the core (b2), containing 70% by weight or more of an acrylate, in the presence of from 0.5% to 20% by weight of a non-crosslinked seed (b1) having a weight-average molecular weight of 40,000 or less, and from 0.5% to 10% by weight of a shell (b3) prepared through polymerization of a monomer for the shell (b3) containing 50% by weight or more of a methacrylate, and the thermoplastic composition further contains from 0.01 to 3.0 parts by weight of (C) a water-soluble polymer compound having the property of forming a physical gel, relative to 100 parts by weight of the graft copolymer (B).

    • There is disclosed a stream data reception/reproduction device capable of suppressing deterioration of quality of stream data reproduced even when the stream data is received via an IP network or the like in which the packet arrival timing and the order are not guaranteed. In this device, a reproduction speed control unit (107) sets various conditions in accordance with the value of the synchronization difference reported from a synchronization difference calculation unit (102). Only when the set conditions are satisfied, the speed of reproduction of a frame decompressed and inputted from a decoding unit (105) is adjusted. The reproduction speed control unit (107) interpolates a predetermined amount of sample data into the frame or decimates it from the frame when adjusting the reproduction speed.

    • An object of the present invention is to propose a novel thermoplastic resin composition having high impact resistance without degrading weather resistance even when the content of an impact modifier is small. A thermoplastic resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin (a) and 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of an impact modifier (b) containing a graft copolymer (b-1) containing at least one (meth)acrylate flexible polymer phase and a rigid polymer phase serving as the outermost part of the graft copolymer, a water-soluble polymer compound (b-2) having a physical gel-forming property, and a gelling agent (b-3). In the thermoplastic resin composition, the content of the water-soluble polymer compound (b-2) having the physical gel-forming property is 0.01 to 3.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the graft copolymer (b-1) and the content of the rigid polymer phase serving as the outermost part in the graft copolymer (b-1) is 0.5 to 10 percent by weight.
