    • The stepping motor controller of the present invention includes: a stepping motor including a rotor and an excitation coil; a drive section for supplying multiple-stage drive current to the excitation coil in response to an input command value, thereby enabling a micro step drive; a control section for controlling the stepping motor by varying the command value to be provided for the drive section; and a position detection control section for generating a detection signal in accordance with a rotation position of the rotor. The control section switches two operation modes of a first operation mode and a second operation mode, the control section varies the command value to be provided for the drive section based on a timing generated by the control section itself in the first operation mode, and the control section varies the command value to be provided for the drive section based on a timing corresponding to the detection signal generated by the position detection control section in the second operation mode, thereby controlling the stepping motor. The control section switches the two operation modes during a series of transportation operations for transporting the stepping motor from a start position to a target position, and the control section makes the stepping motor perform a coarse operation in the second operation mode and then switches the second operation mode into the first operation mode, thereby performing a micro step drive.

    • In a stepping motor control method using an encoder, a timer means is provided, and an excessive advance of a phase during low rotation is restricted to attain a high speed without compromising stability during low rotation by driving the motor in such a manner that a pre-reversal state is recovered a predetermined time after a voltage reversal and a post-reversal state is recovered after one cycle of an angle detecting means. A device is provided which controls a speed by a pulse generator generating pulses at predetermined intervals, which detects a sudden drop in speed from a predetermined time elapsed from the last pulse, and which detects, when a speed is to be recovered, an abnormal drop in motor rotation independent of the motor rotation speed by changing a threshold value of an elapsed time according to an actual speed, a speed command value and an acceleration command value. A device is provided which controls deceleration by switching from a close-loop control to microstep driving in deceleration, wherein a drive amplitude in microstep drive into a predetermined relation with a drive amplitude in closed-loop control so that unnecessary vibration when switching to microstep driving is prevented while out-of-step is prevented.

    • An FM multiplex broadcasting and receiving system has an FM multiplex broadcast apparatus and an FM multiplex receiving apparatus. The multiplex device multiplexes the audio signal with additional information such as the character data to generate a multiplex signal. The frequency modulation device frequency modulates a carrier with the multiplex signal to provide an FM multiplex broadcasting signal. The FM multiplexing receiving apparatus has a frequency demodulating device for frequency demodulating the FM multiplex broadcast signal to provide an audio signal and an additional information data signal, a displaying device displaying the additional information data signal.
