摘要： A method for manufacturing a hearing aid component (15, 50) adapted for fitting in the auditory canal of a hearing aid user, the hearing aid component having a covering of resilient material on at least part of its outside surface and the hearing aid component having an inner sound conveying part (16, 56) comprises the steps of acquiring data representing the shape of the auditory canal of a hearing aid user; forming a three-dimensional computer model of the shape of the hearing aid component (15, 50) based on the acquired data; forming a three-dimensional computer model of a mould (10, 40) for casting the covering; manufacturing said mould in a rapid prototyping process based on said three-dimensional computer model of the mould; casting the covering in the mould; removing the mould from the covering; and forming said hearing aid component by joining the covering with the inner sound conveying part. The invention further concerns a hearing aid comprising a hearing aid component manufactured by this method.

摘要： A method for coating of a hearing aid said method comprising the deposition of an adhesion layer that does not develop corrosive reaction products. The method comprises applying an organometallic compound to the surface of the hearing aid component using vapour phase deposition, inducing a reaction to convert it to a metal oxide, then applying a silane molecule to the surface, and inducing a reaction between the applied silane molecule and the metal oxide. The invention also relates to a hearing aid comprising a component for a hearing aid provided with a hydrophobic coating comprising a layer of aluminium oxide, and a coating for a hearing aid component. The coating is produced in a system (701) for vapour phase deposition of precursors.

摘要： An earplug (100) for a hearing aid includes an ear canal body part (103) with a bore (106) and a sound output passage (107) in communication with the bore and leading to a sound output opening (105) and flanges (104a-d) surrounding said ear canal body part and adapted to engage a wall of an ear canal. The flanges are substantially disc shaped and have an axis of symmetry that is substantially parallel to the axis of symmetry of the bore of the ear canal body part. The invention further provides a hearing aid and a method of inserting a probe tube in an earplug.
