摘要： The invention is a pipe joint for joining pipes composed of materials that are difficult to adhere. The major elements are an extrudable adhesive; a first pipe having a socket with an inside diameter, where said socket has a mouth, a self-centering bottom with a gasket, a cylindrical wall with a plurality of ports, and an inner annular channel. A second pipe has an insertion section with an squared-off end and a rolled groove. The second pipe having an outside diameter that is less than the inside diameter of the socket, where the difference defines a coaxial cavity with a width. The rolled groove serves as a distribution channel while the adhesive is a liquid, and upon curing the solid adhesive functions as a retaining ring. A flanged annular ring, potentially aided by a compression apparatus, caps the cavity, centers the insertion section, and maintains compression. The adhesive includes alkyl-borane-adhesives.

摘要： A plastic pipe seal for dual wall plastic pipe includes a plastic single piece or multi-piece fitting formed of rigid plastic sheet. At each inlet to the fitting, two formed grooves are radial to the line of flow through the fitting. The groove closest to the fitting inlet mates with a corresponding groove on the pipe, which groove receives a mechanical retainer. A second radial groove spaced from the retaining groove holds a gasket sealing device which provides a seal between the inside of the fitting and the outside diameter of the pipe. The retainer can be an extruded or molded plastic or metal spring cut to appropriate size, or a dual durometer structure, which allows for compression to a solid retainer.

The major components are an extrudable adhesive; a first pipe having a socket with an inside diameter, where said socket has a mouth, a self-centering bottom, and a substantially cylindrical wall with an inlet, an outlet, and an inner annular channel; a second pipe having an insertion section with an end and an outer annular channel, said second pipe having an outside diameter that is less than the inside diameter of the socket, where the difference in diameters defines a cap and where the outer annular channel lines up with the inner annular channel therein forming an interlocking keyway; and a flanged annular ring, where said annular ring has an inside diameter that enables it to be slid over the second pipe and a thickness that is comparable to the gap, and where the flange has a width that is sufficient to cap the mouth of the socket. When fully formed, the adhesive has changed to a solid material that substantially fills the gap and the interlocking keyway, and serves as a mechanical key in the interlocking keyway. The adhesive is preferably an alkyl borane adhesive

The components are an extrudable adhesive; a first pipe having a socket with an inside diameter, where the socket has a mouth, a self-centering bottom, and a cylindrical wall with an inlet, an outlet, and an inner annular channel; a second pipe having an insertion section with an end and an outer annular channel, where the second pipe has an outside diameter that is less than the inside diameter of the socket, the difference in diameters defining a gap and an interlocking keyway; and a flanged annular ring. The annular ring has an inside diameter that enables it to be slid over the second pipe and a thickness that is comparable to the gap. When the adhesive cures it forms a mechanical key. The adhesive is preferably an alkyl borane adhesive.

摘要： An improved connecting device for of securing a pipe fitting of one material to a pipe of another. This invention provides a connector body with an insert fitting which does not leak therebetween. Further, the invented device has an integral annular flange, which extends into the surrounding body thereby preventing the body from expanding with heat and slipping with relation to the insert upon engaging the fitting with a nipple or other pipe material, and twisting forcefully.
