A video camera (11) provides images outside the vehicle to the passengers in the bright areas and images of a video disk player (34) are provided to the passengers in the dark areas. Further, sways are imparted by a motor (23) for rolling and a motor (24) for pitching to the ride (1) in accordance with scenarios. These images, acceleration/deceleration and sway give the passengers an illusion as if they had moved over a longer distance than an actual distance in the dark areas.
