摘要： A coin-type lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material including a silicon alloy material, a conductive agent including a carbon material, and a binder. The silicon alloy material includes a phase A including a lithium-silicon alloy and a phase B including an intermetallic compound of a transition metal element and silicon. In the lithium-silicon alloy, a ratio of lithium atoms relative to silicon atoms is 2.75 to 3.65 in a 100% state-of-charge.

摘要： A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The positive electrode includes an active material capable of reversibly absorbing and desorbing lithium. The negative electrode includes an active material of the same composition as that of the active material of the positive electrode. This non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery does not generate voltage until being charged. Also, in the case of reflow mounting, charging the battery after mounting will avoid having an adverse effect on the components mounted on the substrate.

The sealing plate is in contact with the negative electrode and serves as a negative electrode terminal. The gasket is interposed between the positive electrode can and the sealing plate. The gasket is composed of tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer resin having a heat deformation temperature of 70° C. or more at a load of 0.45 MPa and a heat deformation temperature of 60° C. or less at a load of 1.82 MPa.

摘要： Disclosed is a secondary battery having a terminal for surface mounting which includes a power generating element and a battery case for housing the power generating element. The power generating element includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an organic electrolyte. The battery case includes a positive electrode can electrically connected with the positive electrode and a negative electrode can electrically connected with the negative electrode, and a gasket interposed between the positive electrode can and the negative electrode can. The organic electrolyte contains an organic solvent in which a solute is dissolved, and the organic solvent contains sulfolane and 1,2-dimethoxyethane. Amounts of the sulfolane and the 1,2-dimethoxyethane are 80 to 95 volume % and 5 to 20 volume %, respectively, with respect to the total amount of the sulfolane and the 1,2-dimethoxyethane. The organic electrolyte contains LiN(CF3SO2)2 in 0.9 to 1.3 mol/L.

摘要： In a non-aqueous electrolyte comprising an organic solvent and a solute dissolved in the organic solvent, a lithium salt containing at least one organic anion selected from phthalimide, a derivative of phthalimide, phthalimidine and a derivative of phthalimidine is used as the solute. Such non-aqueous electrolyte is not liable to react with the negative electrode in a primary battery and a secondary battery during a long-term storage at high temperatures. As a consequence, by using this non-aqueous electrolyte, a non-aqueous electrolyte battery having an excellent storage property can be obtained; and the charge/discharge cycle characteristics are improved in a secondary battery.
