摘要： A valve assembly for an air gun includes a valve housing defining a first bore. The valve assembly includes a plug disposed in the first bore. The plug is movable relative to the valve housing to an open position which allows fluid communication through the first bore and a closed position which prevents fluid communication through the first bore. A slide block includes an engagement surface. The slide block is movable relative to the valve housing to a safety position in which the engagement surface is spaced a first predetermined distance from the plug, a firing position in which the engagement surface is spaced a second predetermined distance from the plug, and a bleed position in which the engagement surface engages the plug to move the plug to the open position. A bleed apparatus includes a gas-spring assembly and the valve assembly discussed above coupled to the gas-spring assembly.

摘要： A spring compressor for compressing a power spring of an air gun within a compression tube of the air gun includes a beam that extends along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The beam includes a dovetail shaped slot that extends along the beam, for engaging an accessory rail on the air gun. The beam includes a clamp portion that is disposed adjacent the first end of the beam. The clamp portion is integrally formed with the main structure of the beam. The clamp portion is operable to directly engage the accessory rail on the air gun in clamping engagement. A compressor includes a rod in threaded engagement with a post, which is mounted adjacent the second end of the beam. Rotation of the threaded rod relative to the post moves the threaded rod axially along the longitudinal axis relative to the beam.

A gas spring assembly is disposed within the compression chamber, and includes a piston that defines an interior pressure chamber. The piston includes a latch bushing that is disposed adjacent a rearward end of the bushing. The latch bushing defines a central bore that extends along and is concentric with a longitudinal axis of the piston. A guide rod is slideably supported within the central bore of the latch bushing. The piston is axially moveable along the longitudinal axis relative to the guide rod, between a compressed position and an un-compressed position. The guide rod includes a first end that engages the trigger assembly in abutting engagement, and a second end that is disposed within the interior pressure chamber of the piston. The latch bushing includes a ledge for engaging a sear of the trigger assembly in latching engagement.
