摘要： A controller doorbell circuit includes a first terminal of a button wired to a first terminal of a transformer, a second terminal of the transformer wired to an input transformer terminal of a controller wired to a battery power source and coupled in signal communication to a mobile device, a transformer terminal of a signaling device wired to an output transformer terminal of the controller, and a second terminal of the button and an alarm terminal of the signaling device wired to an alarm terminal of the controller. The controller opens disabling the controller doorbell circuit disabling the signaling device from sounding an alarm when the button is pressed, in response to a first signal from the mobile device. The controller closes enabling the controller doorbell circuit enabling the signaling device to sound the alarm when the button is pressed, in response to a second signal from the mobile device.

摘要： A sports helmet having a pair of strap retainers affixed thereto is provided for use with goggles held on a wearer's head by a strap. One strap retainer is affixed on each side of the helmet at a height above the goggle strap when the goggles are over the eyes of the wearer. The strap retainers are formed with an inner arm affixed to the side of the helmet and an outer arm spaced therefrom. When the wearer moves the goggles upward from the eyes to rest on the front rim of the helmet, the strap slides along the helmet and is entrapped in each strap retainer to prevent the goggles from sliding over the top of the helmet to an inconvenient position.

摘要： Matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) is performed in a manner that thermalizes large analyte ions in a plume of desorbed material for spectroscopic analysis. The thermalized ions have a low or zero mean velocity and are presented at a well-defined instant in time, reducing artifacts and sharpening the spectral peaks. In one embodiment the light is delivered to a matrix or sample holder having a cover, baffle or compartment. The baffle or compartment impedes or contains a plume of desorbed material and the analyte undergoes collisions to lower its mean velocity and directionality. Thus “thermalized” the analyte ions are passed to a mass analysis instrument.
