摘要： A turbocharger includes a turbine wheel having a center hole and a turbine shaft having one end secured on a small-diameter inner circumferential surface of the center hole. A large-diameter inner circumferential surface and a large diameter outer circumferential surface are formed to provide a cylindrical clearance opening toward a bearing housing between the center hole and the outer circumferential surface of the turbine shaft.

摘要： A lubricant composition, which is low in friction, does not have an attacking property against polyamide resin, etc., is excellent in heat resistance, and especially does not undergo deterioration or loss of the respective characteristics in a short term when used under a high temperature environment, is provided along with a speed reduction gear and an electric power steering apparatus that use the lubricant composition. The lubricant composition has blended therein a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, a urea thickener, zinc stearate, and a sulfur-based antioxidant. A speed reduction gear has a portion of engagement of a small gear and a large gear filled with the lubricant composition. In an electric power steering apparatus, an output of a steering assisting electric motor is speed reduced and transmitted to a steering mechanism via the speed reduction gear.

摘要： The invention is aimed, in a rolling bearing device, to improve its durability by appropriately attenuating vibration of a rotating shaft by means of a high level of dumping performance, and thereby to reduce the load imposed on the rolling bearing and/or the overall system. A rolling bearing device of the present invention comprises a rolling bearing (13) including: an inner ring (24) and an outer ring (23) that are disposed so as to be relatively rotatable; and a plurality of rolling elements (25) disposed between the inner ring (24) and the outer ring (23), in which the rolling bearing (13) supports relative rotation between a shaft (14) and a housing (12). 摘要： A rolling bearing device includes a bearing housing supported on a casing of a turbocharger, and a pair of rolling bearings mounted within the bearing housing and rotatably supporting a turbine shaft. A middle position between the pair of rolling bearings in an axial direction and a central portion of the bearing housing in the axial direction are offset from each other in the axial direction. Each of the rolling bearings includes an inner ring, an outer ring, an intermediate ring interposed between the inner and outer rings, a row of rolling elements rollably interposed between the inner ring and the intermediate ring, and a row of rolling elements rollably interposed between the intermediate ring and the outer ring. The intermediate ring has a damper function to be very slightly displaced or very slightly deformed elastically so as to damp vibration produced during rotation of the turbine shaft.

摘要： A film composed of grease, or a film composed of a thickener for grease, is formed on a portion of the surface of each of components constituting a bearing, the portion being opposed to a polymeric lubricant, whereby sliding frictional resistance between the bearing components and the polymeric lubricant is reduced. In the formation of the film, the assembled bearing in which the film has not yet been formed is immersed into a liquid which is obtained by diluting the grease or the thickener for grease with a solvent, and the solvent is then dried, thereby to highly reproducibly form the film of uniform thickness. In an assembled double-row self-aligning roller bearing wherein an outer race is swingable in a direction perpendicular to the center axis of the bearing, raw materials of a polymeric lubricant are poured into and solidified in two regions of an annular space between the inner and outer races.

摘要： A turbocharger includes a housing, and a turbine shaft supported in a center hole in the housing through rolling bearings. A tank portion for storing lubrication oil is formed in the housing, and the lubricating oil is supplied from the tank portion to the rolling bearings through wick members extending from the tank portion respectively to the rolling bearings. The wick member includes a bundle of fibers made of a plastics material, and a distal end portion thereof is separated into a fibrous condition, and this distal end portion is held in contact with the bearing. The lubricating oil is supplied to the bearing by a capillary action of the wick member.
