    • An emulator of an electrical response of a biological tissue includes an artificial nerve module, a DAC module, and a mesh resistor circuit. The artificial nerve module includes a plurality of microcontrollers coupled to each other, and each of the microcontrollers has at least one control end and at least one voltage signal output portion providing a total of at least two voltage signal output ends. The DAC module includes DACs corresponding to the at least two voltage signal output ends, and each of the DACs is coupled to the voltage signal output end to output a node voltage. The mesh resistor circuit includes a plurality of first resistors and second resistors corresponding to each other, each of the first resistors and each of the second resistors corresponding to each other define a node, and the node is used to accept the node voltage.

    • Evaluating a real estate transaction based on preliminary data about the transaction. An evaluation system employs a transaction evaluator software module that can receive input about a customer and a type of financial product. The transaction evaluator software module also has access to a variety of data sources defining parameters for the investing institution. When the transaction evaluator receives input for a customer, it retrieves the relevant parameters for investing and performs a series of calculations to determine the likelihood that the customer's transaction will be approved. The results of the calculations can be displayed to the user in a graphical format for a range of transaction values. The graphical presentation of the calculations assists the user in determining whether to proceed with the transaction.

    • The synchronism or tracking between two analog signals is compared by a cuit arrangement having two inputs to which these analog signals are applied. A comparator circuit compares the two signals and provides a trigger or energizing signal to a switch which in turn produces an error signal when the two compared signals deviate from each other to an extent larger than a predetermined limit. One input is connected to the comparator circuit through a heterodyning circuit wherein the respective analog signal is heterodyned by a heterodyning signal which varies in its polarity. The comparator circuit includes a polarity detector which provides a signal signifying a positive or a negative difference between the amplitudes of the two polarity signals. A discriminator circuit is operatively connected to the comparator to provide a switch energizing signal when the difference signal does not have any zero transitions or passages with the frequency of the heterodyning signal.
