    • A highly alkaline, ultra-low sodium antioxidant mineral additive of saturated tripotassium phosphate may be used as an additive to dosages such as concentrated drops, tablets, capsules, bottled water, beverages or other dosage forms. The alkaline antioxidant mineral additive further includes organic potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, selenium and 79 trace minerals from ancient sea salt. The trace minerals are taken from the low-sodium technically-processed magnesium chloride marine deposits and chelated with amino acids. The amino acids are from a non-animal source which is suitable for vegetarian and persons who are allergic to animal proteins. The alkaline antioxidant mineral additive, which is considered nutritionally nil in sodium content, can be used as a concentrated aqueous drop or dried and used as an additive for dietary supplement dosage forms including tablets, capsules, bottled water, beverages and others.

    • One embodiment provides a method implemented by a powered inflation device to prepare a balloon catheter for use during a medical procedure. In this embodiment, the method includes drawing an amount of medical fluid from a fluid reservoir into the inflation device during a first motorized operation of the inflation device, removing an amount of air from the balloon catheter during a second motorized operation of the inflation device, and injecting the amount of medical fluid from the inflation device into the balloon catheter during a third motorized operation of the inflation device to inflate a balloon located at a distal end of the balloon catheter The powered inflation device may be a stand-alone device in one embodiment. In one embodiment, the powered inflation device is coupled to an angiographic injector system. When it is coupled to an angiographic injector system, the balloon inflation device and the injector system may be controlled by a common control panel, or console, in one embodiment.

    • Improved means and methods for controlling the sequencing and branching of microinstructions in a microprogrammed digital data processing system. Microinstructions are stored without replication in a programmable read-only control memory and corresponding microinstruction addresses and associated test select bits are stored in a separate programmable read-only memory having an instruction address storage capacity which is a predetermined multiple of the number of microinstructions in the control memory depending upon the branching capability desired. A common address register is used for both of the control and address memories, the remaining portion of the control memory addressing being derived from testing particular system conditions selected by test select signals obtained from the address memory. The mapping of microinstruction addresses and test select bits in the multiple storage locations in the address memory are chosen in conjunction with the addressing provided by the common address register and the results of testing selected system conditions so that a significant portion of the microinstruction sequencing and branching logic normally required to perform a microroutine is instead provided by the operation of the address memory in a highly flexible and unrestricted manner.

    • The invention involves using a visual verification pattern on a mobile device to redeem a coupon. A user installs a coupon presentation application on a user device and configures an account and downloads and stores coupons on the application. The user approaches a point of sale terminal at a merchant location to purchase a product. The user accesses the coupon and indicates to the coupon distribution system that distributed the coupon that a purchase is imminent and a verification of a coupon will be required. The system accesses the coupon visual verification pattern configured by the merchant and transmits the pattern to the application. The application displays the pattern on the mobile device display for presentation to the merchant. The merchant can recognize the visual verification pattern and enter the discount or rebate associated with the coupon into the terminal along with the purchase details.
