    • A docking apparatus for printed circuit boards including a cassette housing so as to define a housing cavity for containing a printed circuit board (PCB) and a linkage mechanism disposed so as to be associated with the cassette housing. The linkage mechanism includes a linkage arm pivotally connected to the cassette housing via a pivot and has a first arm pivotally connected to the PCB, a clevis pivotally connected to a second arm extending from the first arm, a shaft extending through an aperture in the clevis at a first end defining the shaft, the first end configured to operably transfer axial translation of the shaft to the clevis, and an opposite second end defining the shaft includes a thread, and a nut operably secured to the cassette housing. The nut is configured to threadably receive the thread for axial translation of the shaft therethrough, wherein rotation of the shaft translates the shaft causing pivotal movement of the linkage arm about the pivot via the clevis causing translation of the PCB in and out of engagement with a corresponding connector.

    • An electronic enclosure assembly having a logic chassis, a forward extension member attached to one end of the logic chassis wherein each side of the forward extension member has side pieces, each of the side pieces having a face and a notch. The enclosure further includes a removable chassis having a front side and a rearward side and sized to fit between the side pieces and slidably movable on the extension until it is engaged with the logic chassis. An activation handle having side members is pivotally attached on the sides and at front end of the removable chassis and is movable between an up position and a down position. The ends of the side members and the notches of the side pieces of the logic chassis cooperate for camming the removable chassis into engagement with the logic chassis when the activation handle is moved to its up position and for camming the removable chassis away and disengaging the removable chassis from the logic chassis when said activation handle is returned to its down position. The logic chassis and removable chassis include connectors which are plugged and unplugged together when the chassis are engaged and disengaged, respectively. Alignment means are provided to align the chassis in the vertical and horizontal directions.

    • A constant impedance air baffle assembly having two spaced apart generally parallel plates, each having a plurality of through holes for placing in line with a plurality of circuit cards to be cooled. The circuit cards are mounted on one side of a printed circuit board, and arranged in varying numbers and placements, depending on the number of cards desired. The air baffles provide a constant impedance to the air flow over the cards such that air does not bypass other components that need to be cooled when the circuit cards are removed. Further, the baffle plates include hanger tabs which may be hung over the edge of a printed circuit board to hold the parallel plates in place. The hanger tabs further include spacing slots for holding a pair of side-by-side printed circuit boards apart such that the printed circuit boards upon which said air baffle is hung cannot flex and short the pins on the backs thereof together.

    • A modular node assembly for a rack mounted multiprocessor computer in which the node assembly has a logic chassis and a removable chassis. The logic chassis contains logic cards including memory cards, a service processor card, Central Processing Unit (CPU) processor cards, and Input/Output (I/O) cards to which I/O and processor interconnecting cables are attached. The removable chassis contains the power supply module for the node, a node supervisor card, disk drives and cooling fans. The removable chassis is removable from the logic chassis without moving or disturbing the logic chassis. One fan of a pair of cooling fans in the removable chassis draws air through the power supply, which has relatively higher cooling needs, and blows the air into the logic chassis over logic modules having relatively lower cooling needs. The other cooling fan draws air over the disk drives and node supervisor card which has relatively low cooling needs, and blows air over into the logic chassis over logic modules having relatively higher cooling needs.
