摘要： A hot stone therapy and acupressure roller including a specially designed rod where hollow, cylindrical stones, along with acupressure pins, are spaced along the rod. As the rod is applied to the body, the attached stones roll and acupressure may be applied. Targeted acupressure can be applied on either side of the rod, and the acupressure pins serve to bold the cylindrical stones and spacers in place. The stones can be inserted onto the rod or used individually. The stones can be used to conduct a cold and/or hot stone massage. Additionally, each end of the rod is shaped for use as a massage tool. When using either end of the rod as a massage tool, the acupressure pins serve to improve grip and increase leverage.

In some versions the tow device can be installed on the towing bicycle without tools and a towed bicycle can be attached to the tow device without tools. One version of the tow device includes an adjustable support to adjust the tow device so that bicycles of varying frame and tire sizes may be towed. The tow device may also include a skirt within a guide to gently secure the towed bicycle to the tow device.

摘要： A computer-implemented method for use in conjunction with a computing device with a touch screen display comprises: detecting one or more finger contacts with the touch screen display, applying one or more heuristics to the one or more finger contacts to determine a command for the device, and processing the command. The one or more heuristics comprise: a heuristic for determining that the one or more finger contacts correspond to a one-dimensional vertical screen scrolling command, a heuristic for determining that the one or more finger contacts correspond to a two-dimensional screen translation command, and a heuristic for determining that the one or more finger contacts correspond to a command to transition from displaying a respective item in a set of items to displaying a next item in the set of items.

摘要： A medical fluid machine with supply autoconnection, the machine comprising: a cassette-receiving wall; a disposable cassette held firmly by the wall, the disposable cassette including a port spike, the port spike fitted with a spike cap; a translating shuttle including a channel sized to hold a portion of a supply tube and including a fixture for releasably holding a supply tube end; a supply tube including an end configured to be releasably held by the fixture of the channel of the translating shuttle, the supply tube fitted with a supply tube cap; a cap removal device selectively positionable between the disposable cassette and the translating shuttle; and a controller programmed to (i) translate the shuttle holding the supply tube at the supply tube end towards the disposable cassette, so that the cap removal device is likewise moved towards the disposable cassette and the spike cap of the disposable cassette is engaged, (ii) translate the shuttle holding the supply tube at the supply tube end away from the disposable cassette and the cap removal device, so that the cap removal device can pull the spike cap off of the port spike and the tube cap off of the tube end, and (iii) translate the shuttle back towards the disposable cassette to allow the port spike of the cassette to spike the tube end.

摘要： A network-coding-based distributed file system (NCFS) is disclosed. The NCFS may include a file system layer, a disk layer, and a coding layer. The file system layer may be configured to receive a request, for an operation on data within a data block, to specify the data block to be accessed in a storage node of a plurality of storage nodes. The disk layer may provide an interface to the file system to provide access the plurality of storage nodes via a network. The coding layer may be connected between the file system layer and the disk layer, to encode and/or decode functions of fault-tolerant storage schemes based on a class of maximum distance separable (MDS) codes. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.
