摘要： A method for installing a drop terminal includes providing a drop terminal assembly including a drop terminal having an exterior surface, a first cable spool engaged to the exterior surface of the drop terminal, a second cable spool engaged to the first cable spool and a fiber optic cable having a first length disposed about the first cable spool and a second length disposed about the second cable spool. The drop terminal assembly is rotated to deploy the second length of fiber optic cable. The second cable spool is removed. The first length of fiber optic cable is bundled. The bundled first length of fiber optic cable is removed from the first cable spool. The drop terminal is removed from the first cable spool. The drop terminal is mounted to a structure.

The cable pass-thru fitting is adapted to receive at least a portion of the fiber optic cable. The cable pass-thru fitting includes a housing assembly and an insert assembly. The housing assembly defines a bore. The insert assembly is adapted for engagement with the housing assembly. At least a portion of the insert assembly is disposed in the bore of the housing assembly. The insert assembly includes a nozzle and a retention member. The nozzle defines a cable passage through which the optical fiber of the fiber optic cable passes. The retention member is engaged with the nozzle so that the strength member is captured between the nozzle and the retention member.

The fiber optic enclosure assembly includes a housing having an interior region, a housing port extending through the housing, a cover surrounding the housing, a cable management recess in the cover, a cover port disposed through a section of the cover, a cable distribution system in the interior region of the housing, and a fiber optic cable. The cover port aligns with the housing port. The fiber optic cable is wrapped about a portion of the cable distribution system, extended through the housing port and the cover port, and wrapped around a cable portion of the cable management recess in the cover. Further, the fiber optic cable has an end portion located within the cable management recess.

摘要： A fiber optic telecommunications device includes a frame and a fiber optic module including a rack mount portion, a center portion, and a main housing portion. The rack mount portion is stationarily coupled to the frame, the center portion is slidably coupled to the rack mount portion along a sliding direction, and the main housing portion is slidably coupled to the center portion along the sliding direction. The main housing portion of the fiber optic module includes fiber optic connection locations for connecting cables to be routed through the frame. The center portion of the fiber optic module includes a radius limiter for guiding cables between the main housing portion and the frame, the center portion also including a latch for unlatching the center portion for slidable movement. Slidable movement of the center portion with respect to the rack mount portion moves the main housing portion with respect to the frame along the sliding direction.
