    • A method of switching a multimedia session from a mobile terminal (2) connected to a mobile communications network (21) to an indoor device (11; 12; 13; 14) connected to an indoor local area network (150) including an indoor gateway (15), the mobile terminal (2) and the indoor gateway (15) being connected to an application system (20) that sets up multimedia sessions. The method includes setting up a first multimedia session between the mobile terminal (2) and the application system (20) via the mobile communications network (21). The mobile terminal (2) detects the proximity of the indoor local area network (150). Indoor devices (11-14) are selected that are capable of supporting the first multimedia session in progress on the mobile terminal (2). The mobile terminal (2) validates an indoor device from the selected devices. A second multimedia session is set up between the validated indoor device and the application system (20), and the first multimedia session is closed.

    • The invention relates to a method of switching over an audiovisual session in a telecommunications network (1) comprising at least one first access network (31) and one second access network (32), an audiovisual session being in progress, during which at least one user terminal (10) attached to the first access network and able to attach itself to the second access network receives from a contents server (61) at least one data stream constituent of an audiovisual content by way of a data stream gateway (41) comprising a first output interface (41S1) to said first access network and a second output interface (41S2) to said second access network.According to the invention, the switchover method comprises the following steps: receiving a request for session switchover to the second access network, emitted following a change of a state of attachment of said terminal; ordering switchover of said audiovisual session from the first output interface to the second output interface at said data stream gateway (41); recovering information related to a context of said audiovisual session switched over to the second interface; ordering evaluation at a contents profiles server (55) of an adaptation of quality, that can be supported by said second interface, of the audiovisual content transmitted for said audiovisual session as a function of said information recovered; and receiving a response on the part of said contents profiles server (55) and requesting updating of said data stream emitted during said audiovisual session to the contents server (61) so as to ensure said evaluated adaptation of quality.

    • A method of distributing applications in a first network destined for user terminals is provided. The method includes downloading an application to a user terminal via a first download server associated with the first network, the downloaded application being stored in an entity within a second network interconnected with the first network. Prior to downloading, the method includes: sending, from the first download server, a message containing rules relating to applications likely to be downloaded by the first download server, to a central control server; receiving, by a second download server associated with the second network, a download request sent from the first download server; sending, by the second download server, a response message to the first download server, the response message including data allowing downloading; and transmitting a message containing information relating to the downloading of the application, from the second download server to the central control server.
