    • There is provided an adapter for use in a mobile communication device connected to a first communication network. An exemplary mobile communication device comprises a mobile terminal and a subscriber identification module connected to the mobile terminal. In the subscriber identification module, an address of a first gateway node (ADR1) is stored for integration into the message. The adapter module is connected to the mobile terminal, the adapter module being configured to modify the message to be submitted to a terminating communication device such that the message is submitted to a second gateway node. The second gateway node is configured to transmit the message to the terminating communication device.

    • There is provided a method for transferring data from a first memory card to a second memory card, each memory card allowing reading and/or writing access upon verification of an allocated credential. An exemplary method comprises providing the credentials allocated to the memory cards to a managing device. The exemplary method also comprises receiving in the managing device data from the first memory card and providing to the second memory card the credential allocated to the second memory card by the managing device. The exemplary method additionally comprises forwarding the data from the managing device to the second memory card and storing the data in the second memory card after having successfully verified said credential in the second memory card.

    • There is provided a system and method for storing data in an IC card, which is connectable to a host device. The IC card may include a microcontroller comprising a memory for storing data elements modified by a data processing program, when the IC card is operated. The memory may include at least one non-volatile memory unit and at least one volatile memory unit. An exemplary method may comprise determining at least one first data element and modifying the at least one first data element more frequently than at least one second data elements. The exemplary method may additionally comprise storing and modifying the at least one first data element in the volatile memory unit in response to the rate of modifications of the at least one first data element.
