    • Methods for providing run to run process control using a dynamic tuner are provided. Once such method includes receiving a data point for a process output parameter, determining whether the data point is within a desired range for the process output parameter, setting, when the data point is within the desired range, a dynamic lambda value equal to a preselected base lambda value, setting, when the data point is not within the desired range, the dynamic lambda value equal to a value based on the preselected base lambda value, a degree of difference between the data point and a target for the process output parameter, and a scale factor, calculating an exponentially weighted moving average using the dynamic lambda value, and adjusting the process control parameter in accordance with the exponentially weighted moving average.

    • A method and system for fabricating a magnetic transducer is described. The transducer has device and field regions, and a magnetoresistive stack. Hard mask layer and wet-etchable layers are provided on the magnetoresistive stack and hard mask layer, respectively. A hard mask and a wet-etchable mask are formed from the hard mask and the wet-etchable layers, respectively. The hard and wet-etchable masks each includes a sensor portion and a line frame. The sensor portion covers part of the magnetoresistive stack corresponding to a magnetoresistive structure. The line frame covers a part of the magnetoresistive stack in the device region. The magnetoresistive structure is defined in a track width direction. Hard bias material(s) are then provided. Part of the hard bias material(s) is adjacent to the magnetoresistive structure in the track width direction. The wet-etchable sensor portion and line frame, and hard bias material(s) thereon, are removed.

A presentation of a schema in a graphical user interface (GUI) is comprised of multiple type nodes in a tree structure. Each type node comprises a hierarchical arrangement of a plurality of nodes including group nodes including a plurality of nodes and content nodes providing values. First user input selects one of the type nodes in the schema for a view. Second user input selects one of the nodes in the selected type node in the schema for a view. Third user input selects a node in the schema to indicate a root node of the schema for the view. The view includes the root node and at least one sub node of the root node and is added as a child to the selected type node.
