摘要： Disclosed is a fastening system that is adapted for securing a sheathing board to an associated framing member. The system includes a feedband for retaining a series of fasteners and a powered drill for sequentially driving the fasteners. The feedband is made from a membrane of a polymeric compound. As the fastener is driven into the sheathing board, a portion of the membrane tears away from the surrounding feedband and becomes seated beneath the fastener. This acts to seal the penetration point and prevent water intrusion and otherwise prevents deterioration of the sheathing board.

At least one outer surface including a polymeric compound or wax emulsion additive entrained therein essentially encases the core gypsum within two facing layers.

A housing is mountable generally above the seat back within the passenger compartment. A light device is coupled to the housing and includes a first body portion and a second body portion being inelastic with the first body portion defining a first pivot axis. An illuminator is mounted to one of the body portions for selectively lighting a desired location over the passenger seating. A hinge is disposed between the body portions and spaced from the first pivot axis with the hinge defining a second pivot axis substantially parallel to the first pivot axis such that the second body portion rotates about the second pivot axis independently of rotation of the body portions about the first pivot axis for providing more accurate positioning of the illuminator to the desired location.

摘要： Gypsum board having inorganic fiber, preferably glass fiber, preferably glass fiber, includes providing face sheets which have been completely impregnated with a gypsum slurry so as to penetrate through said random interstices between the inorganic fibers and to thereby cover the board surfaces with gypsum slurry. The gypsum board product is formed by passing the wet gypsum board through a board forming station having double forming plates, an upper forming plate having at least a portion thereof being set at a predetermined angle relative to a lower forming plate and having a separation between the forming plates defining a predetermined dimension substantially equal to the desired thickness of the manufactured gypsum board product. The method provides a multilayer gypsum board having a polymeric compound added to unset gypsum so as to provide a gypsum board ready for finishing.

摘要： A coating method for gypsum board having a surface gypsum layer in which a polymer additive has been entrained including forming a gypsum board including the polymer additive entrained in a surface layer, application of a preferably acrylic primary coating, curing and drying the gypsum board, passing the gypsum board through a first roll coater wherein a second fluid coating is deposited over the primary layer of the dried, coated gypsum board in which the polymer additive has been entrained, the coating then being dried and cured, wherein the coating material of the primary coating forms a chemical bond with the polymer additive entrained in the surface layer of the gypsum board and the polymer of the primary coating forms a chemical bond with the second fluid coating. A coating material which can form copolymer bonds with the second coating is then deposited on the second coating and then dried and cured, resulting in coated gypsum board having a low surface tension surface that is essentially impermeable to water and vapor or moisture penetration.
