    • The filter device is utilized for the separation of undissolved solid substances from liquids, in particular in the fields of waste water purification and water treatment. The filter device is arranged in a container as capable of rotation (2) and surrounded by the liquid to be filtered. The filter device (1) consists of several filter elements (6) with a space between one another, which are combined to form a rotating filter. The filtrate is drained away at the periphery of the filter elements (6). Solid substances are prevented from adhering to the filter elements (6) during the filtering process. The rotating filter comprises a hollow space in the center and an aeration device (8) is arranged in the hollow space, around which the filter device rotates. The filters are continuously cleaned by the mixture of air and liquid flowing through during the filtering process.

    • A filter unit includes membrane plates placed together parallel to one another, which at least in zones around connecting elements for the purpose of draining permeate are connected together liquid-tight. The membrane plates because of their shape and after two membrane plates have been placed one on top of the other are provided for manufacturing a liquid-tight connection or a seal by welding. As a result unfiltered liquid flows through between the membrane plates and contamination of the permeate within a volume situated between the connecting elements is prevented. Over a number of connecting elements and zones located in between it is possible to attach a hollow profile, which is closed-off at its ends. This hollow profile in a liquid-tight manner surrounds discharge openings of the connecting elements and the zones located in between with positive material engagement. As a result, a permeate collection channel is formed, out of which and through a permeate discharge the permeate can be extracted through suction.

    • A filter device for the clarification of contaminated liquids includes a vessel configured to contain the liquid to be clarified. A first carrying disk is arranged within the vessel and is rotationally driven about a rotational axis. Mounting rods are attached to and extend generally perpendicular from the carrying disk. A plurality of filter modules including spaced apart filter elements extend generally parallel to the carrying disk. Each of the filter modules is rotationally fixed relative to the carrying disk at least in part by the mounting rods. The filter modules have a radially inward end spaced radially from the rotational axis of the carrying disk. The ends of the filter modules circumscribe a cavity within the vessel having a longitudinal axis corresponding to the rotational axis of the carrying disk. The cavity is configured such that a cleaning fluid medium from within the cavity flows radially out from said cavity and between the filter elements to clean the filter elements.

    • A filter device for the clarification of contaminated liquids includes a plurality of disk-shaped filter elements spaced apart from one another and combined into circular or polygonal filter modules. The filter elements are arranged rotatably about a horizontal axis in a vessel containing the unclarified liquid. The filtrate is capable of being discharged via the individual filter modules. The filter modules form centrally a cavity. The cavity on one side is closed by a carrying disk and on the other side is connected to the vessel via a suction-intake orifice. The cavity is connected operatively to a flow member in such a way that, via the suction-intake orifice, a flow can be generated in the unclarified liquid between the spaced-apart filter elements and avoids an adhesion of solids to the filter elements.
