A second stage receiving the DC power source from the first stage and further comprising: a second stage step-down buck converter with a constant current output that receives power from the DC power source; and a second stage intelligent step-down LED driver chip that runs a step down buck converter that produces the constant current output to the external LED load. A companion microcontroller controls a second stage intelligent step down LED driver chip. The companion microcontroller provides programmable features for a user, wherein the programmable features provide user programmable variables to reprogram the LED Driver to alter default variables.

    • A stepper motor includes a rotor having a ring-shaped body having a circumference along which a plurality of magnetic poles of alternates. A plurality of stator members is arranged along and spaced from the circumference of the rotor. Each stator member has two limbs circumferentially spaced from each other by an angular range corresponding to an odd number of the magnetic poles of the rotor. A coil winding is formed around an end portion of each limb of each stator member and is substantially flush with the end face of the end portion to reduce and minimize magnetic loss. The stepper motor further includes a circuit board to which the coil windings are electrically connected whereby the phase switching sequences of the stator members and the windings is controlled.

    • A lighting controller comprising a single circuit sensor switch on a first circuit. At least one infrared PIR sensor is configured to cover 360 degrees. The at least one infrared PIR sensor is electrically connected to control the single circuit sensor switch. An acoustic sensor is electrically connected to control the single circuit sensor switch. A photo sensor is electrically connected to control the single circuit sensor switch. The photo sensor has an infrared remote controller and receiver for controlling the single circuit sensor switch. A second circuit sensor switch is on a second circuit that is connected to the first sensor.     • An LED driver has a power supply configured to receive power from a power input. A primary controller configured to receive power from the power supply and output power to a power output. The power output is configured to be connected to LED lights. A dimmer provides a dimming signal, and the dimmer has an adjustable voltage circuit. An offset voltage is added to a ground path on the adjustable voltage circuit. The offset voltage can be created by a silicon diode adding the offset voltage to a transformer's secondary winding ground path on a DC regulated voltage circuit. The adjustable voltage circuit can be formed as the DC regulated voltage circuit. The DC regulated voltage circuit is a 10 VDC regulated voltage circuit.

    • A circuit is described which allows an LED driver to be controlled by a control signal in such a manner that at a predetermined dimming level the output current goes to zero instead of continuing to indefinitely low dim levels, thus avoiding the possibility of flickering or shimmer at extremely low dim levels. An electronic circuit for driving an LED load with a conventional LED drive circuit has inputs connected to a power source and output terminals providing regulated output power including a load disconnect switch in series with the LED load which has a control node responsive to a control circuit; and a control input which commands varying levels of input power. The control circuit is configured to be responsive to the control input so that when the control input corresponds to a certain continuous level of dimming, the load disconnect switch is opened.
