    • Provided is a liquid crystal device in which a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other are adhered by a seal material, and liquid crystal is sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate in a region surrounded by the seal material so as to configure a display region in the region, the liquid crystal device including: a first partition wall which is disposed on the first substrate at the second substrate side, is adjacent to the liquid crystal at one wall surface, is adjacent to the seal material at the other wall surface, and is disposed along the outer circumference of the display region; a second partition wall which is disposed on the first substrate at the second substrate side, has a wall surface facing the wall surface of the first partition wall adjacent to the seal material, and is disposed along the outer circumference of the first partition wall; and a connection portion which is disposed on the first substrate at the second substrate side with a height lower than that of the first partition wall and the second partition wall, and is disposed so as to connect the wall surface of the first partition wall adjacent to the seal material and the wall surface of the second partition wall facing the wall surface, wherein a concave groove portion is configured by the first partition wall, the second partition wall and the connection portion, and the seal material is filled in the groove portion such that the first substrate and the second substrate are adhered.

    • A method for manufacturing a light emitting device includes :forming a first coated film including a light emitting compound and a carrier transporting compound on a surface of a first electrode, the light emitting compound including a light emitting moiety that has luminescent characteristics emitting light of a first color and a polymerizable group that has photopolymerization characteristics and the carrier transporting compound including a carrier transporting moiety that has carrier transporting characteristics and a polymerizable group that has photopolymerization characteristics; forming a first light emitting layer by polymerizing between the compounds in the first coated film under light irradiation on the first coated film to harden a light-irradiated region thereon; removing a region other than the light-irradiated region on the first coated film; forming a second coated film including a light emitting compound and a carrier transporting compound on the surface of the first electrode, the light emitting compound including a light emitting moiety that has luminescent characteristics emitting light of a second color different from the first color and a polymerizable group that has photopolymerization characteristics and the carrier transporting compound including a carrier transporting moiety that has carrier transporting characteristics and a polymerizable group that has photopolymerization characteristics; forming a second light emitting layer by polymerizing between the compounds in the second coated film under light irradiation on the second coated film to harden a light-irradiated region thereon; removing a region other than the light-irradiated region on the second coated film; and providing a second electrode on a side opposite to the first electrode having the light emitting layers.

    • A liquid crystal projector includes a light modulating device, a cooling device, a dehumidification device, and a housing. The light modulating device forms an optical image by modulating light flux emitted from a light source based on image information. The cooling device cools air to be supplied to the light modulating device. The dehumidification device dehumidifies and dries air to be supplied to the corresponding cooling device. The housing includes a cooling medium flow path for circulating air among the light modulating device, the cooling device, and the dehumidification device. The cooling device includes a thermoelectric conversion material interposed between a pair of heat transmission plates arranged to face each other.
