    • A communication device has an antenna structure including a substrate, a ground element, an open slot and a radiating metal portion. The ground element is disposed on a first surface of the substrate. The radiating metal portion is disposed on a second surface of the substrate, wherein the open slot at least partially covers the radiating metal portion, the radiating metal portion at least generates a second resonant mode, and a feed point of the radiating metal portion is electrically coupled to a signal source on the substrate.

    • A mobile communication device having an antenna structure includes a grounding element and an antenna element. The antenna element includes an antenna ground plane, a radiation portion, and a shorted radiation portion, wherein the antenna ground plane is grounded to the grounding element. The radiation portion includes a signal feeding point, a first radiation section, and a second radiation section. First and second radiation sections are connected to the signal feeding point, and are extended toward the same direction. First end of the shorted radiation portion is electrically connected to the antenna ground plane, and second end is left open. There is a coupling gap between a designated section of the radiation portion close to the first end and the shorted radiation portion. Through the coupling gap, the shorted radiation portion is capacitively excited by the radiation portion and generates at least one resonant mode to increase antenna's operating bandwidth.

    • A mobile communication device is provided. The mobile communication device includes a system circuit board with a surface, a ground plane having a monopole slot on the surface, a microstrip feedline, and a metal element, wherein the ground plane has a longer edge and a shorter edge. The monopole slot has a first operating band and a second operating band. The microstrip feedline is located on the system circuit board, wherein one end of the microstrip feedline passes over the monopole slot, and the other end of the microstrip feedline is connected to a signal source. The metal element is electrically connected to the shorter edge of the ground plane, and is substantially perpendicular to the ground plane. A distance between the open end of the monopole slot and the shorter edge of the ground plane where the metal element is connected is shorter than 0.05 wavelength of the lowest operating frequency of the first operating band.

    • The present invention is related to a folder-type mobile communication device. The device comprises a first dielectric substrate, a first ground plane disposed on the first dielectric substrate, a second dielectric substrate, a second ground plane disposed on the second dielectric substrate, an antenna element, a metal line, and a band-stop circuit. The antenna element is located near the first ground plane and is electrically connected to a source on the first dielectric substrate. The second ground plane is electrically connected to the first ground plane through the metal line. The band-stop circuit is located either on the first ground plane or on the second ground plane. The band-stop circuit includes a slit, a capacitive element, and an inductive element. The slit is near the metal line. The capacitive element is electrically connected to the two sides of the slit, and the inductive element is electrically connected to the two sides of the slit such that the inductive element and the capacitive element form a parallel LC resonant circuit. Therefore, the band-stop circuit generates a parallel resonance at a specified frequency.
