摘要： A remote service system capable of providing service also in environment of a dynamic IP address is realized. A service demanding apparatus has a demand-side router connected to the Internet by using a dynamic IP address via a broadband line. The demand-side router has authentication obtaining means for obtaining authentication from a service providing apparatus and communication means for performing communication with the service providing apparatus. The service providing apparatus has an authentication server for authenticating the service demanding apparatus and a providing-side router connected to the Internet by using a static IP address. The providing-side router has communication starting means for accessing the demand-side router by using a telephone number on a broadband line to make the demand-side router start performing communication, and communication means for performing communication with the service demanding apparatus.

摘要： A technique is provided for evaluation of an operative state of a medical diagnostic system. The technique is particularly adapted to evaluating image data from a variety of imaging modalities, including magnetic resonance imaging systems, computed tomography imaging systems, x-ray imaging systems, and so forth. A user interface permits a service request to be formulated at the diagnostic system. Data files, such as image files, log files, error files, and so forth, are identified and stored corresponding to the service request. The service request is then transmitted to a remote service facility for evaluation. The necessary data files may be transmitted with the request or subsequent thereto. The request is acknowledged by the remote service facility in an electronic message. The request uniquely identifies the diagnostic system, as well as the modality of the system.

摘要： A system for providing remote service to medical diagnostic systems is described that includes a field service unit connectable to an automated service facility via a network link. The field service unit is configured to compose service requests based upon a series or menu of predefined service modules or functions. The service request includes identification of a diagnostic system or facility of interest. The request is communicated to the automated service facility which verifies the request and executes the requested function. Data may be gathered from the diagnostic system or institution as well as from service databases. Results of the service operation are automatically transmitted to the requesting service unit.
