摘要： A lead frame has slots therein for bayonet type connection to electrical terminals provided on a solenoid valve or group of valves. Projections on the lead frame are disposed between the slots and upon bayonet connection to the terminals closely interfit a web disposed between the terminals on the solenoid. Preferably, support stanchions are provided for the terminals and may be integrally molded with the web.

A bracket retains the valves on the valve mount/stiffener and the valve mount/stiffener on the deckplate when assembled on the engine by through bolts.

摘要： A valve body has a bore in an exhaust flow path extending from a supply port to an exhaust port. The bore is bounded by a cylindrical inner surface with a stationary throttling corner. A cylindrical outer surface of a throttling member has a movable throttling corner. The movable throttling corner on the throttling member is sized to constrict the exhaust flow path upon moving coaxially toward the stationary throttling corner on the valve body. The movable throttling corner and the cylindrical outer surface are together sized to close the exhaust flow path upon moving coaxially past the stationary throttling corner and into the bore.

摘要： A solenoid valve and manifold assembly for installation on an engine and connecting with hydraulic circuits in the engine for de-actuating the combustion chamber valves of selected cylinders of the engine. A manifold deck is formed with the valving channels and ports therein for connecting to the hydraulic circuits. A gasket is formed with solenoid valve mounting bosses and valving passages as a unitary member and is retained on the manifold deck by a retaining plate preferably stamped from sheet stock with clearance holes received over the valve mounting bosses and secured to the manifold deck over the gasket for sealing the gasket thereon. The valves are inserted in the bosses and retained by a preferably stamped bracket and the bracket, retaining plate and gasket secured to the manifold deck by common fasteners. A common electrical lead frame is received over the valve terminals for making electrical connection to the valves. The assembly of valves and the manifold deck may then be attached to the engine as a unit.

摘要： A gasket fits between a deck plate and a solenoid valve in a lifter oil manifold assembly. The valve has a planar end surface with valve ports. The gasket has gasket ports for alignment with the valve ports. The gasket further has a planar sealing surface. The planar sealing surface on the gasket surrounds the gasket ports, and abuts the end surface of the solenoid valve fully around the valve ports. The gasket preferably includes a rib structure that extends lengthwise to surround the array of gasket ports. The rib structure is deflectable to the plane of the sealing surface under a clamping force applied to the gasket by the deck plate and the end surface of the valve.
